man, everytime, holy crap. why doesn't underoath write more songs like this. i love their new stuff from lost in the sound but this was them at their best when they wrote this. Worship compleatly, listen to the crowd at the end, there is no way to just sit back and not scream, "jesus, i am ready to come home". man, love these guys
I love comments like this because back in the day it was hard to find stuff like this on TH-cam and 18 years later you can find pretty much every music act you want
it doesn't care who wrote it it's just the best song ever awesome scream from spencer and the lyrics are so strong i always get the chills if i listen to it it giges me a feeling from safety
Aaron is playig the drums... the guy singing is from another band they were on tour with And Spenc is ghost till the end where he comes in and screams..lol just thought i'd clear stuff up
yeah with most people its usually one or the other but Spee screaming low, deep and medium and also singing all in the same show really impresses me lol
yeah on the album credits it says aaron m, aaron g and spencer wrote the song. and on the DVDs, they say that aaron gillespie and spencer wrote most of the lyrics and tim looked after music, but they all had their own input... im guessing that aaron, aaron and spencer, got together wrote it... and then decided who would do what parts... i think aaron gillespie could have done it as well as aaron m, but it was good for some versatility. aaron m is an amazing singer live, well he is now lol.
but then again it also says Spencer wrote some of the lyrics too which I doubt considering all screams in the song is a part Aaron already sings. So you're probably right. Where did you hear that all the parts/lyrics were done before Aaron Marsh came into the picture.
@NoobyMac The reason why it's hard is because we are fighting against what we were raised into thinking. It's difficult, but i agree that it would be worth it to fight to be closer to God, it still amaze's me how no matter how far away i get or how dissapointed i make him he still loves me the same exact way, it's my own personal miracle. :)
Spencers late entrance is great and intense though.... it wouldnt be as good if he was just standing up there the whole song saying a cpl things here and there to the crowd like "make some noise" "let me see your hands" Etc I like that once the song picks up he comes on stage and gives er. His JESUS scream is still one of my favourite screams he does.
I highly doubt that all the parts/lyrics were already written before Aaron Marsh came in to do his parts considering in the writting credits on the cd it says the lyrics were written by both Marsh and Gillepsie. I do believe what you said about bringing him in cuz Aaron Gillepsie couldnt sing it like him. Listening to all the live versions though Aaron Marsh doesnt sound as good on it LIVE as the recorded version.
oh ok thats what I thought you might have meant or were saying its all confusing on who writes what or who just sings/screams what sorry my bad... I bet they brought in Aaron March for ALOT other reasons that what you said though... Like the fact that hes a fellow christian and can sing in a arron like style lol
its just like singing... I can scream like SPEE no problem its actually quite easy for me. Ive been screaming for almost 10 yrs now and its something I really enjoy... Now I think the complete opposite of you though cuz when I listen to The OATH I think more like How the Hell does Aaron sing that good (cuz I cant sing at all lol)
aaron marsh sings a thousand times better when he has good audio.. copeland forever ftw !!!... i love uo but copeland fits better with me.. and i'm a metalhead! :p
yeah I know hes not that good of a singer... Im just saying that its impressive how he can scream all the different tones and pitches but still be able to pull off a half assed singing voice. Obviously hes not as good as a singer as Aaron G. But still he's alot better at singing than a bunch of the shitty ass emo Ive heard throughout my day.
Came here bc of Tyler, carried on watching bc it's amazing

man, everytime, holy crap. why doesn't underoath write more songs like this. i love their new stuff from lost in the sound but this was them at their best when they wrote this. and on the DVDs, they say that aaron gillespie and spencer wrote most of the lyrics and tim looked after music, but they all had their own input... im guessing that aaron, aaron and spencer, got together wrote it... and then decided who would do what parts...
i think aaron gillespie could have done it as well as aaron m, but it was good for some versatility.
aaron m is an amazing singer live, well he is now lol.
its kinda easy when you only have those cpl lines at the end (lol) but his JESUS scream is really fucking intense I love it it gives me chills
but then again it also says Spencer wrote some of the lyrics too which I doubt considering all screams in the song is a part Aaron already sings. So you're probably right. Where did you hear that all the parts/lyrics were done before Aaron Marsh came into the picture.
i agree. no need to become mainstream. i like them as they are :)
I love underoath! I love copeland! yay!
Wow, I read your comment, and It makes me want to cry now! =P
I wish they still did this live. I think Timmy and Spencer could pull it off :)
i love aaron marsh!!
but i love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more!!!
awesome! is Bill from tokio hotel, on aaron gillespie's shirt
Listening to all the live versions though Aaron Marsh doesnt sound as good on it LIVE as the recorded version.
i wish i could of been there for that...that is sweet

Feel bad for the ppl like “who’s Tyler?”
its just like singing... I can scream like SPEE no problem its actually quite easy for me. Ive been screaming for almost 10 yrs now and its something I really enjoy... Now I think the complete opposite of you though cuz when I listen to The OATH I think more like How the Hell does Aaron sing that good (cuz I cant sing at all lol)

they just got signed to T&N and will release a cd soon
whos singing? other than aaron
does anybody knows how to scream like him?
fucking a m a z i n g.
why does aaron sing this one??
its all good Id rather be able to scream than sing.. Even though singing like Aaron Gillepsie would be amazing...
525,600 minutes.
i had a knot in my throat in 2:30
you guys bash on aaron's singing, yet u say u get goosebumps at 2:39 when all they do is scream HAHAHAHA. what a joke. aaron is an amazing singer.
yea, but how do you scream like him
Don't mean to burst your bubble, but this is about God. But, if you relate it to your girlfriend, that's cool.
whoever is singing this (dude from copeland??) yeah he kinda sucks. but i still love the song
@NoobyMac bcuz its not human nature
aaron marsh sings a thousand times better when he has good audio.. copeland forever ftw !!!... i love uo but copeland fits better with me.. and i'm a metalhead! :p
Are yall so ignorant to know who the vocals are?
Too bad he had to leave the band.... :(
copeland = can't sing one note on beat...
why isn't aaron leading this??
yeah I know hes not that good of a singer... Im just saying that its impressive how he can scream all the different tones and pitches but still be able to pull off a half assed singing voice. Obviously hes not as good as a singer as Aaron G. But still he's alot better at singing than a bunch of the shitty ass emo Ive heard throughout my day.
whatever hes so off key live.lol...mosh..not gillespie.
