lol his gun talk you couldn't shoot the broad side of a cow. Thanks for the videos you are the first seabee I've seen on youtube. Just a legend in my year of 2025
I gotten tired to be a sailor in the fleet so I strike rating as a builder to get out of fleet Man what a diference being away from the battleship! Land at last! Went to port heneme, missisippi and camp Pendleton with a bunch of grunts!
Why would the army construction battalions go to the range more if the Navy is building the FOBs though? The Navy CBs are at the front lines with the USMC, rangers, etc building the forward operating bases and the Army corps of engineers work on bases that have already been built, correct?
I know the 2 main duty stations are port huaneme and Gulfport. Is it like other rates where you get new duty stations every few years or are you permanently stationed there.
I have a relatively burning question. I'm currently in DEP I was offered CM despite scoring enough for pretty much any rating. I def don't mind joining the seabees or being a CM but I'd much rather CE considering I'm looking to eventually finish my degree in electrical engineering. I was told I can qualify with CE's while still a CM. Is there any merit to this? I'm also curious how feasible is it to finish school while enlisted? Also any additional info on CM would be greatly appreciated... can't find one to save my life!
George Rubiro this is true you can also get certs from other fields like some heavy equipment with the EO’s and things like that. And it’s better for you if you do, once you make Chief you combine with 2 other rates and are expected to know how to do the basics. And it will be very likely to finish school but not when you first get to battalion wait a little, you should have a lot of time
MrTherater1 You Just have to be in the right place at the right time. Anyone can do it if u work with someone that has pull to do that. Seals are a perfect example!!!
MrTherater1 To expand on what he said, anyone can route a chit to go to jump school all the way to getting your jump master. But it just depends on whether your command is willing to let you go.

I’m a future BU here looking for more knowledge about the Seabees
How long did it take you to get your qualification/warfare pins?
MelvinTaylor does the seabees have a supply logistics squadron? enlisted and officer personnel?
Fleet SKs Officers are CEC and Combat training you learn from the Marines mainly all of the advanced stuff in FX and in the field
What’s the bottom warfare device you have
That's an Expeditionary Warfare pin, also known as an "EXW."
Hey man I go to meps next week and I’m deciding either to be a sea bee (BU) or yns what do you think would be better and why?

The difference between Marines and the Seabees is, Marines are expendable, Seabees are not!
