    I believe I was at this performance if this was taken at his performance in the Bay area. He was the first country guy I ever listened to and I was hooked on him!

    Crazy how he willingly walked away from the music business. What a shame- he could have probably passed up Kenny.

      I met him in 99. Nice humble dude. Got an autographed pic. He's now selling ranches. He was disgusted with how the industry made him feel. Curb Records kinda chews em up n spits em out with few exceptions. Look at Perfect Stranger, Trini Triggs, to name a few. Such talent and a damn shame not on radio. But his well being is more important. At least we got 2 damn good albums.

      He didn't just walk away.
      He suffered a vocal cord injury and was having trouble singing in key.
