A thousand of my favourite songs from the 90s. I am trying to stick to official vids but may add fanmade ones, definitely no stills,

He played that riff for about 30 mins; a lot longer than the 2 mins shown. He's notorious in the industry now. Sad because he's talented but would never risk spending money to see him play. Always cancels last minute. He's finished.

I feel for the drummer & bassman - they are not just "session musicians" as quoted. They are well respected session musicians who have and do play with well known and well respected international artistes - who personally ask for them. The onus on this story is on the leader - Finlay Q who led this alleged sorry performance. As good musicians do, I can only guess that they followed his instruction. Watch them with other performers and judge them wisely then.

agreed.... the supporting band were all fine musicians hampered by a disastrous situation.... by far the worst gig i've ever worked..... and that includes the punk gigs I worked back in the 80's and 90's

What do you mean? How are they "not just session musicians"? A session musician is a session musician. Doesn't matter if they played with some nobody on the x factor or if they played with Dean Martin. All they have to do is keep their shit together. It's their only job! That, and deciding on who to play with, obviously. People shouldn't feel bad for musicians really.

If you pay to see a performance you are well within your rights to expect a performance not a piss take jam session from an artist who is notoriously difficult to work with, was late and disrespectful. You want to jam? Fine. Do it in your own time, not in front of a paying crowd.

Not the first artist to be an hour late, yet this guy felt he deserved to kick him off? Sounded great the 10 seconds, not much of a sound check needed by the sound of it. Could of easily let him play on. I would of been fuming if some randomer got on stage and ended the gig like that. I would of Boo'ed you straight off mate.

he wasn't an hour late, he was something like 6 hours late , Load in was due 2-3 pm, Sound check and video set up for live and broadcast was due 4-6pm, dinner at 7-8, show at 9 , FQ arrived , from memory, after 8 .... with no back line, no drum kit, and no clue..... Venue managed to get together the relevant items , get the stage set , and engineers managed to get a basic balance on FOH and broadcast , and he still kept the audience waiting over an hour ..... utterly refused to engage with them, kept wandering off stage for some :"special herbal tea" , then wandered around stage pointing the mic directly at the monitors, in some weird tripped out game of cat and mouse with the monitor engineer..... .. and yes, I was there.... and no my name is not Matt Roberts, but I applauded his handling of the excrement on stage,. whereas this lot were very good th-cam.com/video/wbJxWaE5NM0/w-d-xo.html&frags=pl%2Cwn , just to show that the venue was capable of better....
