Why is it so hard being Khmers? After years of sufferings, tortures, and brutal killings, still the neighbors can't just leave us alone. Give us a break for the children sake! It brought tears to my eyes when I see pictures of children around the worlds, who became orphans due to wars, going through garbage dumps to look for scraps of food to eat. They're being abandoned completely by the governments.
I am very saddened by the developments on the Thai-Cambodian border. Both Cambodia and Thailand are wonderful,peace loving countries. They have shared history and culture. The Preah Vihear temple is a sacred world's heritage whether it is recogonised by UN or not. May be a solution could be found by sharing the Preah Vihear temple every 6 months, every year. Just a thought. Becasue the last thing anybody wants to see is a fight erupting between two lovely people of the world.

It seems you are very very poor knowledge about Cambodia & Vietnam history.
In the past, Thailand used many wars to steal Cambodia land. However, Vietnam DID NOT USE WARS to steal the western part of Cambodia. Vietnam acquired this land in peaceful way by agreement from Cambodia Kings in order to pay back to Vietnam supporting to help Cambodia fought against Thais invasion & helped Cambodian Kings gained the thrones.
Cambodia history have these records
Thai embassy was burned because Thais were looking down on Khmer national pride. Thais have no reason to be angry with Cambodia because Thailand is the one robbing Khmer lands and Khmer temples at the border in the first place. Khmers have reason to be angry with Thailand, because Khmers are the victim of being robbed by Thai soldiers.
Only Thai soldiers will get out of Khmer lands and Khmer temples that can stop Khmer angry.
