All I am thinking about is profit. Every single time I open my Coingecko app! 😂 However, I am not going to trade in and out. Just holding my solid positions which are fundamentaly strong projects like AVAX, SUI, PYTH, HELIUM, ICP.
Wish I had of watched this educational video before I started out! Got there in the end thankfully and brilliant to hear you confirm im on the right track! Thanks
Thank you so much for explaining it in a calm and concise manner! I would very much appreciate a video where you explain all of the terms and slang for Crypto!
Only thing i learned from this video is, just don't trade. Just pick a few favorites and HODL through the bull market (sell in +\- half a year) and you're probably gonna do a lot better with a lot less effort
@Om_kera the problem brother...the moment the sell is placed...in india government is ready to take its share of 30% ....so any transaction is typically a pain the A** until regulations are in place..thanks for suggestions though brother,
@@modela6301 oh I see. I understand. Might be a good idea still to just start saving a bag to just for taxes. Especially for this bull run. Good luck with everything
@@Danielievcrypto yeah brother i understand....again...its freaking crazy how governments want people to be poor ... crypto and new regulations are the only hope for good...if both fail then the only solution is HODL THE FCK OUT ..
For this next bull run, I’m pretty hyped about boba network. Smart chain coin for some solid coins (Eth, ADA, XRP etc.). Small market cap of $30M, active development, ready for next altcoin/utility coin cycle. Will 10-30x 🚀💪🏼
This was really really informative. Definitely going to consolidate my portfolio a bit with the strong narratives and stop chasing higher risk stuff with small capital as much. (Maybe with some of the profits I get 😉) Thank you!
Hi Aaron, thanks for the video. Nice and simple to follow. Will definitely test the Altrady platform out. What do you do with a stop loss? Sometimes you may have called the trade wrong and it goes the other way? Or you call it correct and want to follow up with a Stop Loss to protect a pull back? Thanks for your knowledge sharing. Warren
Great content and like the less is more principle but when you mention if we had taken the PNUT (or any new trade opportunity) you do not say where the funds come from. Are you assuming new capital or that we sell one of the 10 holdings? If yes - how decide which...
Great video ❤ I like how you slowly explain. I don't understand all nomenclature but the ckntext helps a bit to understand it. Thanks. I'm still completely lost understanding the charts bc my weird brain has a problem but maybe one day.. Ps. I looove moomins 😊
AWesome video, but i have always wanted to know what is the best way to build a position. My issue is when taking profit and then when adding when the price drops your liquidation price moves up , i wish to understand what is the best way to build a position
I do agree the less is more, i normaly have only 6 - 8 trades open on a time. My Take-Profit-Strategy as a trend-trader is little different, it needs more research wich coins to pick and where the supports and resistants are. After buying the coin i make a reasonable Stop-Loss and if the trade starts to play out ( if the first stop-loss was triggered i know i didn´t made my research propper or we have a major pullback or black swan in crypto ) i at least once a day adjust my stop-loss to the upside. This i can focus on the Trend and the RSI to see if it´s time to get out of the trade but don´t have to worry about bigger pullbacks cause the stop-loss , after 1 or 2 adjustments, start to secure my profits. BTW: It is important to make a strategy first for every trader wich fits to him/her and than start trading. Trades done by impulsive decissions will make you fail in the long therm.
Swapping to a stablecoin is essentially the same thing as selling. You're trading the coin you bought with the money you originally invested into it (but hopefully a whole lot more). Then we can swap stablecoins for your country's currency and withdraw to your bank, or whatever you want to do with it.
Trailing take profit is extending the profit potential of your final TP Target, but keep in mind it uses a trailing stop with a market sell order, so you're risking losing a bit due to slippage in order to gain more. This is also available on Altrady as well as 3Commas btw.
Varies based on size of trade & the exact setup or finding the right setup for me. How much can you afford to loose? Thats what it really boils down to. But im willing to risk or loose 50 to make a 100.
Depends on the timeframe i´m trading and wich coin. I prefeer using support-levels instead of a fixed % ( this, you have to set the SL UNDER the supportlevel or you´ll be stopped out too often ). I adjust 1 to 2 times a day the SL to secure gains. If you want to trade with a fixed % and very short therm 5% is common but as i wrote i play it more advanced.
Awesome video again but i still cant get my head around what i should be doing for take profit and how to build a trade, example use smaller or bigger margin and lower higher leverage and then of course the tps doing small early to allow more meat to run, sigh
Absolutely. That's referred to as "rotating" and happens a lot more on decentralized exchanges like Raydium on Solana or Uniswap for Ethereum. Just keep in mind that those coins you're rotating into could go down as well as up.
Did I miss you saying that the fewer the trades the more important it is to choose the most profitable coins. That's not always easy. Isn't there a balance between the number of trades and the likelihood of hitting one of the 10x+ moonshots?
Another great video - as a CBC member, Dan will always be the man - but Aaron is also great - he really explaining the thought process well. I do have a question though... "Less is more" I get - but as you say in the video - there are lots of narratives and they will all 'pop' at different times. Aren't you better off covering all the narratives with a coin or two - taking profit from one narrative as it 'pops' and investing some of the profit into the 'unpopped' ones? Also - intrigued why you shuffled to BTC - if we're lucky it'll do a 2-3x from here - while a SUI or APT might do a 20x-30x? Don't you want to be cycling into the underappreciated stuff now?
30-40% correction yes last bullrun now is impossible because 10% down in btc is almost 10.000 usd if we droop now 30-40% btc go to 50-60K for me is over if we droop like that. Correction yes but difrent down and fast up
A drop to 60K is still in play in a major pullback, seems you should set a stop-loss on your max pain point. And i really mean Pullback, at end of the Bullrun you might see even bigger drops. Check it out on the charts on the last Bullruns.
I just recovered my old account stock market account from 08.2023 with open positions. Is it time to go out and start again from there or just keep it hodl?
Taking profit is something far too few people think about. Thanks Aaron!

So about how much profit should you take on the way up? and how much should you buy back on the dip?
Great info

The only problem is TAX during taking profits!!😊
Take out money for taxes and put it in a stable coin so it can generate apy

either what Om_kera said or swap it to other coins and only pay one fat tax bill. Be mindful about swap fees though.

Hi Aaron, can you please throw your in-depth knowledge about BTC miners..!
I do agree the less is more, i normaly have only 6 - 8 trades open on a time. Mostly xrp,
Then sol and ada
Then xlm, hbar, vet, link
And a bit of doge, render
Never selling btc
Do you have any price targets for Jasmy coin?
DYOR ? This is on how to learn to trade, no magic crystal ball chanel...
For us newbies how do you cash out? Do you swap to a stable coin or do you sell?
Swapping to a stablecoin is essentially the same thing as selling. You're trading the coin you bought with the money you originally invested into it (but hopefully a whole lot more). Then we can swap stablecoins for your country's currency and withdraw to your bank, or whatever you want to do with it.
Setting multiple take profit targets surely makes sense, but isn't the trailing take profit option on 3comma's a kind of automated version of this?
Trailing take profit is extending the profit potential of your final TP Target, but keep in mind it uses a trailing stop with a market sell order, so you're risking losing a bit due to slippage in order to gain more. This is also available on Altrady as well as 3Commas btw.
What stop loss % do you guys use when trading crypto?
Varies based on size of trade & the exact setup or finding the right setup for me. How much can you afford to loose? Thats what it really boils down to. But im willing to risk or loose 50 to make a 100.

@@Bitman-1 2:1 and 3:1 are the most common fixed SL to TP - ratios, not only in crypto 👍
I liked most of it.

Aaron is this your only course channel?
No, I have my own channel. It's linked in the description.
Great vid, this channel becoming one of my favs now
Why not set stop losses at key milestones rather than auto-take profit? Doesn’t that it increase your upside?
You keep assuming that the bull market is yet to come. How do you know that? There's a possibility that the bull market will end at Q1 or Q2 of 2025.
Best investing video I’ve ever seen! Thanks for the advice
I’ll update my $14,800 portfolio, just like this comment and remind me
He basically just told us to let it ride for a little while 😂
Is it ok to take profit from one coin to buy another promising coin ?
Absolutely. That's referred to as "rotating" and happens a lot more on decentralized exchanges like Raydium on Solana or Uniswap for Ethereum. Just keep in mind that those coins you're rotating into could go down as well as up.
Nice
