Window Washing With Extension Poles

- I have found that window washing with extension poles is much faster than working off a step ladder. It takes a little more practice but it is worth the investment to learn. We usually use an extension ladder for anything over 15 feet but for windows just out of reach use your pole.
This video is meant to help the experienced or aspiring window cleaner to learn to wash windows in a more efficient manner leaving the windows spot free and getting more glass cleaned in a shorter amount of time.

This is the start of this man's legacy.
Yeah. He mentioned in the s technique video he trains "his guys" so he is got a company. He likes to do his job well and he had the foresight to put these videos online so every person that wants to learn how to wash windonws can watch and he makes an extra buck. This is the type of person that succeeds in life: conscientious, pays attention to detail and forwardthinking.
I actually admire that guy.

The micro top edge cut helps, I usually do some micro pulls. With the wagtail squeegees I use a cut back to the starting stroke.

The cut in on the last pull is a new one. The method I usually use is a few taps to dry. That I'll try.

I do window washing at my job. This technique will be nice for those big windows. What about really small windows that are rectangular? How do you get rid of the water at the bottom of the window? Do you use your towel on your squeegee ti dry the edge?

Coty Ellis in this video I was using a 14” squeegee but I also like to use an 18” anything larger becomes to difficult to squeegee after a full day

Okay ill be honest, I’m a little surprised/ offended that its called the Applicator?? Can you guys believe that, honestly this whole time i didn’t know that it was called an applicator, honestly this is unacceptable. Honestly i can’t believe this, like APPLICATOR? Disgusting.
The bottom part of my window dries up before I can get to it. How do you make a better window cleaning solution?
What I usually do for bigger windows like sliders or big picture windows is wet the glass down to a little lower than eye level, squeegee that, then wet the rest of the glass overlapping just a little bit of where you left off and then squeegee that. It sounds like it’d be longer but honestly it saves me way more time not having to go back and buff out streaks from the solution drying up. Other than that maybe try the two handed method!! I hope any of that helped!! I know the struggle of trying to clean hot glass that dries super quick and those methods have saved me a bunch of frustration lol
Oh I forgot to mention, do straight down pulls when you do the top of the glass and the side to side when doing the lower!!
