Soil must be well drained and rich for all bonsai plants and we can add or substract any material according to plants requirement..... I use mixture of sand , grit vermicompost, course perlite, leaf mould,bricks pieces , charcoal , fully decomposed cowdung compost , bone meal , cottonseed meal, top garden soil, neem cake, goat drops , top garden soil.........make combination of 3-4 items which ever is available with you
