I enjoyed all the stories but especially the Visiting Rock Island as I live in Wisconsin. I have not been to Rock Island and right now it is closed because mice have overrun the island.
This is a bit random but have you ever wished it wasn't so easy for your mind to go to a place to where you actually believe, that no longer being alive is a better than continuing on. Of course this is irrational thinking but long story short life is a torment. I know it's me and some of my mistakes that have helped me get to here but I also know if you are living with toxic people in this case hell on earth. My daughter is the only reason I have stayed this long. Once I get my own place that will help I'm sure. My bad for the rant but I don't have anyone to talk too right now. At least if someone is struggling as well maybe it can help.
