Mr Armstrong. Can you comment on the similar piece recorded by Glenn Gould under the title Allemande (Italian Ground) and said to be composed by Orlando Gibbons? Also Dietrich Buxtehude wrote some variations on this. This might make a good research project.

Palatino means: Palatinate, a German wine production area. More Palatino means in the style of Palatinate in Latin , it was a drinking song.
