Today is my Dad's 90th birthday, too. He would've been 90 but he died of Covid last year. Like you, I was also educated in Catholic school and learned the Bible, the prayers that at some point they just became words you automatically recite.
But having my Dad suffer for 6 months, clinging to life, the uncertainty I felt, the fear I faced everyday not knowing if this is the day that I lose him, there's really no one to turn to when your back is to the wall but God.
So I pray that you'll know that He is holding your hand right now. And that the dark place you're in now will soon brighten and lead you out. And it doesn't matter if your stepfather confesses and admits his evil ways, you know the truth, you've spoken of your truth and that's all that really matters.

I'm Filipino and it is one of my favorite Gary V songs. This singer can dance as good as his idol Michael Jackson. There's one fan who told Gary that he heard this song while in a hospital and he had suicidal thoughts and this song made him change his mind. Power of words.
One of his best compositions. If i can remember correctly he almost died a couple of times because he was a diabetic, and still is. Hes one of those singers who will pour his heart out in a song. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Hi Mum......sorry to hear about your brother having cerebral palsy....I once had a chat with somebody who has that disorder and to whatever she was trying to convey that even during her brighter days she considers it boring not being able to move much but Im happy that her husband is always there for her who truly loves her......with Gary he's been a long time diabetic and yet been dubbed as mr. Pure energy and still performing with the same vigor although hes in and out of the hospital....he once said Lord why am I back in the hospital again....and he heard the lord spoke to him saying yes and Im again here having an alone time watching over you. I can tell youve been crying since from your previous reactions and God led you to this song and He spoke to you and touched you. Just keep his presence and be prepared to a big surprise that is yet to come.
