Riccardo Muti has been one of the most prominent conductors for the past few decades and has always provided something new and unexpected to his audience.
His renditions of Giuseppe Verdi’s works, especially, are second to none!
    Bravo Maestro!!

Riccardo Muti is a phenomenal maestro. I remember in high school, my band teacher would take the sophomores, juniors, and seniors to see an open rehearsal of the symphony. When I went, it was absolutely incredible. Muti really gets into the music, and makes the orchestra sound amazing. In February 2019, my mom and I went to see the Chicago Symphony perform Beethoven’s 2nd and 5th symphonies. The concert was incredible! I just love listening to classical music, and hearing the symphony perform these great pieces of work composed by great people

Ditto. I'm so happy to see the maestro! I can't wait to see him in person and have him chastise the audience for something, as he has several times when I was at the CSO! Love it, love Muti, love the great CSO.

So happy to catch this interview and excited for the future! 🙏💕
The Beethoven 9th symphony performed several yrs ago and aired here on YT inspired a revolution and inspiration in my own artistic endeavours… onward and upwards - I look forward to hearing more!

I saw the very first concert when he joined in 2010 at the Millennium Park. I remember his words: "Conductors come and go". Then he continued: (I paraphrase this because I don't remember the exact words he said) : The orchestra remains in the city, for the city, for the people of the city, for the world.

I really love your performances, have always wondered how the musicians understand what you expect from them when you conduct the orchestra ?
