Leexa is actually the tenth queen to win a season with one win after Yvie Oddly, Willowm Pill, Kylie Sonique Love, Precious Paula Nicole, Vanessa Van Cartier, Kita Mean, Blue Hydrangea, Ra'Jah O'Hara and Venus. Everytime it happens it feels unusual but it has become a lot more common over the years.
For me this finale felt like a normal episode tbh, the talent show performances were too short, most of the performances I thought were mediocre, the finalists finale runway looks were underwhelming, the lipsync song was bad, and most of the eliminated queens completely ate up the finalists with their looks, specifically Unique, Garconne, and Elektra.
Did you like this finale? I felt kind of weird, i didn't feel like it was a finale chapter. It was ok. I was pretty sure that the crown was between Leexa and Genary. Both of them weren"t my favorite and I didnt see pretty much of them in the season. In my opinion Eva deserved the crown, no bottoms and shee did it very good. Leexa wasn't my faborite and I didn't enjoy her signing and nothing. My favorite was Elektra so for me this finisved when she left. Eva deserved it but non of them were my faborite for the crown. As as a mexican I'm tired of seeing mariachis and 'llorona song'. Our culture and roots in music and folcklore are more than what Leexa did. She only performed the most common mexican clichés. I know she isn't Matraka, bu if wants to perform and being creative, she didn't give anything impressings. Even looks were better last season finale shows. I enjoyed it more. I think the seaso started good but then went down.
The winner was very unexpected, at least for the non-mexican audience that didn't know she was a fan favorite. Her editing was not giving "the winner of the season" at all.
I remember it was lexxa, horacio, eva, and jenary. Although eva was polarizing since people were feeling she was getting carried and felt that she was the clear winner.
