This manga is one of the best examples of cosmic horror I ever seen. The monster won, and that's it - there is nothing left, no bigger goal to justify the means, no anything. Just a total anihilation to satisfy a very hungry being.

7:57 this is prolly the first sign of Alice showing who she really was. The woman in this room almost lived the exact same life Alice did. Confined in a room, dying but not wanting to die. Wishing to be healthy and beautiful in the same way Alice wished to see the truth of the world. The look she gave the woman was one level understanding and one level contempt.
