- In this video, I try out the only 2 auto cannons in crossout that don't deal explosion damage and are also quite beefy in terms of durability. The Tempest and Whirl autocannons are really fun weapons and strong too. In the last Major Update: Next Step they also buffed the tempest for some reason making them even stronger now. In this video however I also use them on a Jackie Module and well you guys can imagine how disgusting these became.

lol bro, my building skills are not amazing. My advantage is I know what all the parts do and how effective they are, so I'm good at modifying existing builds or optimize builds. The kill dozer just always comes to mind when I build with the bastion cabin that wasn't hard to make just slap everything symmetrically, and you already have a kill dozer
I love the Whirl but they have horrible accuracy, and its aiming angle are worse. if you don't use them as shotguns, at medium and long distance they are useless. They are very powerful weapons but they give the impression that they do no damage because you almost always miss 60% of your shots, unless you are at close range.
I use them on leg builds. They work wonders
hmm a damage resist protection perk for the Whirls maybe like when enemies are farther than 30 meters away would be interesting, would give you protection while you try to close into range since they are a medium to short range weapon.
The depression shooting problem is really noticable with any grinder build, even if you balance for nose heavy something between the recoil and other more unknown factors make shooting down weird. It is really bad with the 16 wheeler styled truck cab; I forgot the name (limited angle cab); even with bigfoot wheels at the back.
do you think the low power killdozer would be a good pick for a returning player? I haven't played in years but I'm looking to get back into it
Need omni wheels to help with spread
Omni wheels and torero can make whirls quite good

I know, but the build wasn't sophisticated at all, just use what you see and you can figure out the rest. I'm not an amazing builder so if I can do it so can everybody else :)
that whirls gun depression problem is not the gun's fault... its because ur meatgrinder build is inclining back because of the recoil (sorry for my english). btw love ur videos as ususal
Perhaps, but why when I'm not moving I still have no gun depression while the tempest has no issues. Devs just need to adjust it. Looks more like a hatbox issue to me

triple tempest walker about 7500 it does silly damage and fine in raids too for reso. I can send if you want im sure you could make it better but its a fine fun build.
The problem with the whirl is the hitbox of the weapon barrel.
I use the second build with upgraded tempets and its really good and its a 7k ps build

Wish I could use cannons and ACs...trying to lead while playing at 450 = skill issue for me.
Man that's rough. You know in 2019 I had that the whole year not sure what was going on with targem servers. Recording that year was awful and was almost going to quit. i was using nothing but hit scan weapons or drones. Thankfully the next year NA servers came back

BTW you not thought about having sideways tilted Whirls? Would address the firing angle at the front but you would have to steer more to compensate for the lack of any side aiming.
I got rid of my whrils they were just a let down everytime I used them

How do you not see that the barrel of the tempest sits higher, that's the reason
True but not 1 pin higher, and you can also see that the whirl has room to move down, but their hit box is just not polished and just too big
@@JBRider that doesn't matter, the lower sitting barrel just has no room to look down
