We live in Northwestern PA and have around 70 Acres of Land, in the middle of family homestead land from more than 4 generations back. We have one daughter, one rescued Great Dane, and one cat. I enjoy your channel so I've watched your tractor videos and gave them all a 👍. I have no need for a tractor at this time but grew up working on my grandparents farm. Even though they had large tractors the they used every day was the 56 4 cyl ford. It was very similar to yours.

I have had many of discussions with other farmers that if we still could get a decent gas power tractor with some of todays technology it would be a great machine and it would be a nice option for guys say in the 25-75 horse range . Just a nice basic pushrod gas engine setup right in a Inline 4-6 cylinder type. With all the emissions i think they could make a decent bullet proof gas tractor and sell it for a few grand less than a diesel it would work out well with hydro or gear drive trans . Some diesel blocks would work well for gas use just takes different bottom end and head and lower the cylinder compression .

I agree. I think a gas version would be pretty popular. There are still some gas-powered Terramite (tractor loader backhoe) rentals around here. They’re typically powered by a Kawasaki gas engine if I remember correctly. And they often have thousands of hours on them.

I like that my JD 850 sips diesel. Just hit 3000 hours on it. I have the Woods 750 BH. Once you have a BH you will never want to give it up. On my 850 you turn the key counter clockwise to heat up the glow plugs before you start it. Not sure if anyone that owns the old JD's knows that? Works great every time.

My favorite tractor is my Massey Ferguson 135 with the Perkins diesel. I inherited it from my grandfather and had it fully restored to new condition. Absolute beast of a workhorse and will surpass many modern day tractors in equal displacement power wise.

There were some old tractors that had engines that could run multi fuel. Gas or propane, kerosene or diesel, Some would use gas to start the engine then switch to diesel for working, I think maybe John deere R or H? Twin City KT's are neat to read about too.

Good Evening Sir, Diesel Injectors or Gasoline Sparks Plugs each have their advantages and drawbacks 🤔but your right Diesel has many torque, fuel saving and long run maintenance advantages 🤔👌👍but gas need more maintenance ( mainly the electrical ignition systems ) but way more cheaper to run for sure like you were saying 👍👌😇Yes that RK 25 is very nice but the MAHINDRA eMAX 20s HST ARE THE BEST SIR 😇👌👍💪✨🚀Antics Massey Harris are Also THE BEST GAS tractors 👍👌😇 I Hope That I did Not Set Myself to a Potatoes Peeling Duty with my convincing Mahindra Comment Sir🤣👌👍THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING Tractor Series Sir Cheers 🍻🍻

Another advantage of diesel is they run cooler. I can work all day with my dad's Kubota B2100 and it doesn't get much beyond "C" . Probably only a quarter of the way. Great points in this video Chad! Thanks for sharing! 😎
