Reasons why Qias Omar deserves a sneaker from a company
1. He has been on TH-cam since 07 and has work like all of the other youtubers out there for those years that he was not growing like he is now.
2. He is one of the only people to work with sneakercon to create something other than a table and I not sure if he even gets enough credit for that.
3. Qias has inspired me personally to not let up on your dreams and learn something everyday and grind for what you want. Nothing is given everything is earned.
Personal reasons: Qias is a huge part of my life if I did not have him to look up to everyday I don't know where my life would be yes he has made me fall in love with the Jordan 1s and yeezys but I don't own a pair all I have is some uncaged ultra boost size 11.5. But I do try like everyone else I enter raffles I try online and have had no help for anyone but my self. So these are some reasons why I think Qias deserves something on a shoe from any brand. Qias if you read this that would be great. Peace

I. Can. Relate.
Rewind to 2006 or so I pitched a brand on a collab. Designed it, built the marketing plan, showed the numbers and impact of what I was doing with NiceKicks.com, and ultimately they passed. No hard feelings - they weren't ready. The blog era was still so damn young and so green and still so unknown by practically every brand. In fact, I didn't actually work directly with a major brand on a media event for nearly 2 or 3 years because a lot of people just didn't get what the power of the web was.
ALL I wanted for so long was to do a shoe and I got that opportunity with Ronnie Fieg on a Gel Lyte III that we started working on together in 2008 and ultimately released in September of 2009.
What I can tell you is this - don't stop the dream and don't stop what you do. It will happen.
The way that so many collabed for so long was that it required a retailer or account to sell the product team on producing a shoe for them that would build energy that would cause a trickle down or halo effect to enhance the sales of their inline goods. This is why, for so many years, the first introduction of a new model came through a collaboration. New Balance did this with a few models - the 999 with Concepts, the 1600 with RF, UBIQ, & Nice Kicks, the 997 again with Concepts, and Burn Rubber on the MT580 before they opened an inline program for US distribution.
Brands are constantly having to refocus and restrategize. By the time a brand thinks they have the perfect formula for marketing or for success, the rapidly evolving marketplace and rapidly evolving base of technology has changed the formula on them. What doesn't change is that those who put in the hard work and put in the quality work are the ones who win and the ones who get noticed.
I'm not going to lie: working on the process of creating a shoe, picking the materials, colors, planning the distribution, execution, marketing plans, etc is one of the coolest things ever. So much so that by the time the shoe actually releases you'll be so anxious for the damn thing to release. It is a LONG process. Footwear takes so much time to put into motion, unfortunately, but patience is what will win.
Keep doing you, keep building your brand, keep building the following you have, but above all, keep doing quality work - it will get noticed and your dream WILL happen.

Personally I think a TH-camr getting there own collaboration with a brand would be pretty cool to see. I don't know if sneaker brands had thought of doing that. I think the Qrew should get a shoe in the future. The qrew has a lot of potential to go even bigger. I've just recently started watching Qias vlogs and I've been hooked on every episode since I started. I believe he deserves his own collab because of the mere fact that he has been able to touch and inspire the lives of others, just by posting videos and going out to meet and greet his fans. Honestly you can tell he is down to earth and cares about his fans and he does everything for them. He always gives his honest opinion about sneakers and doesn't sugarcoat it.
