All that I get after 5 years of teaching at govt school is being respected. Now the whole village knows me, I get students pranam, and honorifics in each words. Since 5 years apart from lockdown, I have to never take any vacations, and even in lockdown I tried to visit th3 village and tried to guide them.
Yes my salary is extremely low then even a group D stuff, but people honours me, respect my words, thats priceless.
Few days back read about a news where a senior officer spoke that while he was posted everyone used to give him a lot of respect but after retirement even his old driver is not picking up the phone. Sab time ka khel hai and how you treat others.

Being a govt employee in Indian railways at ALP post it's very tough to maintain your daily life schedule bcoz we have to do our duty irrespective of day night extreme weather conditions and many challenges comes during duty.lekin logo ko lagta hai ki ye to mast ghumate hai aur paise kamate hai,yaha Sona jagna khana pina time pe nhi hota just bcoz ki indian railways time pe rahe but no one cares about our efforts.

True, i have seen exactly same conditions with my parents also. But i have also heard from them about other employees who just exploit the govt resources by getting themselves (through bribery or similar ways) transferred to places they don't have to work.
Everyone is contributing towards nation, whether he/she is a govt employee or private. We should respect everyone. Telling corporate slave is not good. It is very tough to type 100-200 lines code, sitting on laptop for 8 hrs continuously and even a small error can end whole hardwork. Respect every profession, every job. Don't make videos for comedy purpose and if making then be neutral and consider both sides and make fun of both sides.

I'm a Government officer. It is very tough now a days for government employees.
Many of my government officer friends want to quit their job and many have already left.
Now there is no pension ,
almost 40% of posts are vacant , so u have to ready for additional charges and that is also without pay, there is no pay for overtime ( government jobs are 24 / 7 job , so u have to ready for work in holidays)
Frequent transfer is the biggest headache, u have to be ready to work any area,
Political pressure to do a work which is not legal, in future it may lands u in serious trouble like criminal proceedings.
