It’s fantastic listening to the older generation like Roger Marshall, Mick Grant and Steve Parrish. They rode in a time that was so dangerous but the fun and banter in the back ground kept their spirits high. They partied hard and enjoyed their racing. Night and day difference compared to the top flight now with everyone beating themselves up because they couldn’t find a tenth, training hard and stone faced in front of the cameras. All sports have went the same but as Dom said, it would have been great to be born for that era. Great work lads

Nobody can tell a story like Roger! What a truly great guy. I was a racer for alot of years, and I think he is one of three riders I would really love to meet. Niall Mac, Eddie Lawson and Roger.
Loved this one big time! Reg needs to write a book or do a tour talking. I'm certain I saw him in the paddock or pits at knockhill, oblivious to who he was... but thought- what an old absolute rockstar, bet he has shredded a lot of Stratocastors or tyres and groupies arses! My mates agreed and laughed. Who knew I was right on 2 counts!! Total legend, wish I'd realised who he was. Brilliant podcast lads. 🏅
I saw the Silver Dream Machine at Ingliston race track near Edinburgh in the early 80’s and I’m sure Rodger was there if I remember right? What a top bloke Rodger is, would love to have a pint with him.
Roger is character, an evening locked in a pub with him Whit, McPint and Rutter would be a dream evening... hope you manage to get him back on again for part 2 and maybe a part 3 if possible

I started getting MCN in 1979 when I was 13, I've read so much about Reg and all of the people he talks about, the back pages were great back then, the journos used to go into great details about the race/races.. Happy times.

ive got rogers old cosworth leathers at home, the last ones he rode in, but he rode the RC 30 not the cosworth
Roger has so much knowledge in bike racing. He was a great rider and he has always been a nice guy. Really enjoyed this interview.
