I actually like this solo. it's so gentle and calming, it's kind of relaxing just watching your Tea Dragons "growing", regardless of scores or outcomes! Sad, I know, but hey.
I'm curious what flaws you've noticed. I just recently bought the game, but only played one round of 4 players by myself (so that I can teach it better; I hate when game night is the owner of the game learning the rules). It did seem like some things would be overpowered to the point of it just being a race to who can draw the right cards first, rather than making interesting choices no matter what you draw.
It might be a bit tricky with a 6-year-old. It's not a complicated game, but some reading ability is required. I would say around 10 is the perfect audience, particularly if they're a fan of the graphic novels.
I prefer the old way of showing the information of the game before the explanation of rules. I find it a bit uncomfortable to read them while watching / listening to the explanation or pause the video (and I often rewind the video to the beginning of the explanation).

The simplicity and limited range of powers might make it ideal to play with younger kids. It’s sounds perfect for my 6 yr old

Starting with replayability is weird. At 7min in to the review, I'm eager to know if you liked it.
