Been a long time watcher, and did feel some type of way about your madea reactions, as I had seen throughout the years how in touch with your emotions you are. I actually didn’t pick up on the backlash after family reunion because i didn’t read the comments. While I did notice Gregg being sort of caught off guard by Tyler Perry’s style and his unique directorial choices and distinct tone shifts, I just assumed it was the “growing pains” of being new to the genre. At the end of the day it takes guts to expose yourself to new things on the internet in front of ppl raised around and in those experiences. Sometimes it vibes and it’s all great. Sometimes, as we saw with reunion, there are growing pains. What’s important is that we all learn from it and each other so we can all grow. I love the channel Greg. And you. Always will. ❤️

People weren't attacking them for their reactions. But we're pointing out their insincerity in some of those reactions. Some things require a little focus. And sometimes these two weren't focused on the movie or the meaning in the scenes they were watching. Then later on talking about this, that and the other. That they clearly missed while watching the movie. Because they were too busy criticizing or making jokes in weird spots during the reactions. Also, they would come on at the end of the movie. With how they viewed certain things and want people to take their critique seriously. But failing to realize that there has to be some accountability as why bits and pieces didn't make any sense to them.
Well, you must be immune to the awkwardness in some of their reactions. Not to mention the inappropriateness and jokes. Some of us actually pay close attention to what's being said and done. Whether with intention or moments of ignorance. It was a learning experience for a few reasons.

Really appreciate you giving these movies another shot. I saw a lot of backlash from the first reactions and i know it can be hard to overlook some of Tyler Perrys tropey elements but most of his movies have very serious undertones.

I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but I like the change to the intros and hope the change persists. The majority of people respond defensively to criticism. It takes will to pause for a moment and evaluate the validity of criticism, the reasons you respond the way you do to specific criticisms, and the ways in which the criticisms might be beneficial by fostering personal growth. I loved your reactions and had no issues with them because a lot of the plots are similar, so I found the criticism for them valid, but that wouldn't make me change my personal opinions on the movies. If you like Idris and really want to see him to an extreme, you have to watch Tyler Perry's No Good Deed. he stars in it with Taraj P. Henson. Great movie

The youngest girl, China played in the descendants franchise she was in 3 out of the 4 movies , she played Uma. She was also in grown ups as one of Chris rocks kids in the movie and funny enough also had Carlos from Descendants as one of Adam Sandlers kids in the movies

Only speaking from experience as a paralegal in a large fathers rights firm. Most attorneys do not have access to criminal records unless they are an integral part of the family law case. Additionally, if in court an attorney objects and states a prior conviction, it would be overruled as it was not entered into the court as evidence, all attorneys and parties would have been served the document and it would have to be a conformed copy from the court. Otherwise, it's hearsay. If you attempt to serve said document in court, it can be rejected. That has been my experience and I was personally in charge of 250+files at any given time, I also was filing with the seven most Southern Counties of California. Every court, even within the same county has different rules of court, filing procedures etc.

The youngest girl, China played in the descendants franchise she was in 3 out of the 4 movies , she played Uma. She was also in grown ups as one of Chris rocks kids in the movie and funny enough also had Carlos from Descendants as one of Adam Sandlers kids in the movies

Only speaking from experience as a paralegal in a large fathers rights firm. Most attorneys do not have access to criminal records unless they are an integral part of the family law case. Additionally, if in court an attorney objects and states a prior conviction, it would be overruled as it was not entered into the court as evidence, all attorneys and parties would have been served the document and it would have to be a conformed copy from the court. Otherwise, it's hearsay.
If you attempt to serve said document in court, it can be rejected. That has been my experience and I was personally in charge of 250+files at any given time, I also was filing with the seven most Southern Counties of California. Every court, even within the same county has different rules of court, filing procedures etc.
