I'm a musician, and from a musician's perspective, I am a big fan of State of Mine and you guys (both combined and separate). I am an even bigger fan of any group who can cover a song as great as State of Mine and you guys can (seriously...I understand the concept of "studio magic" and all, but I don't think I can even cover a tune as well as you guys can. Your combined talents blend amazingly!) With that said, I feel like I've been checking for updates every 5 minutes since the trailer for this was launched on the 14th...1900 can't come soon enough...And dear God, I hope it is 1900 EST because that is where I reside...
I came back to this video (again because it's awesome) and played it for the wife (who loves it), and I have to give credit where credit is due. The drummer...He just kicks ass. Drummers usually get picked on the most in every band (admit it...we all do it...I'll usually tell my drummer he did a good job of playing the click track when we record something, but won't give him an ounce of credit for the actual song...we're all like family in my band though so we laugh and never take it seriously). Regardless, the drummer in this video is a straight up beast. He not only plays great, but also gives the entire video an insane amount of energy. Props to him.
