The Haunting of Hill House show that Varun mentioned is an outstanding show. Especially the episode called the Bent-neck Lady
One of the only horror movies/shows which I genuinely liked, usually the genre is very lame ineffective for me
I fucking hate horror but I still watched this show. Its wonderfully structured and story driven plus the bent neck lady still haunts me

7:28 Its sleep paralysis which leads to delayed hallucinations.
It's not delayed, it occurs in real time. While sleeping you wake up,you can't move, eyes are open and the brain is projecting spectres or hallucinations which you feel as realistic.
I effing hate Sleep paralysis, it's the scariest thing ever. Your eyes are open, but you can't move bcos brain is still sleeping. I think it's more common to people with PTSD, anxiety, depression or certain mental disorders.
It mainly occurs due to lack of sleep hygiene and also due to discomfort while sleeping such as the temperature being too high or something.

I actually love how much Neville has already researched the science behind paranormal experiences. It shows how avid his reading is. My curiosity loves listening to his point of view. He's really underrated.
This is just some thing that came to my mind while watching the video. Maybe the whole concept of chudail might have come out because pehle sati system tha, and if the ghosts exists then maybe, the wife wouldn't have wanted to be dead, to maybe uski aatama ko shaanti nahi milti thi aise, that is why she would come in that white saree. And if the ghosts do not exists then uski body poori tarah se nahi jalti hogi and maybe adrenaline rush ki wajah se she was able to come out of the fire bed or something.

I watched this too late and enjoyed it a lot. If you guys want to watch a thriller I would recommend The Invitation (2015) and Coherence (2013). They are lesser known but were absolutely chilling and mindblowing movies.
Day 3 of quarantine, i'm watching all episodes again for the next days.!
