This sort of introduction, their history and their backgrounds...... are very educational to all Tibetans. Keep this kind of content, very well done. Thank you. 🙏
I travelled to this area twice with my late father and visited his cousin in ‘Lingtsang settlement’, direct descendants of the former kingdom in eastern Tibet. གླིང་ཚང circa 11th century-1959. We received blessings from the late Tri Rinpoche, འགྱུར་མེད་ཀུན་བཟང་དབང་རྒྱལ, and another time, to pay respect to his kudung during the Nyinga Monlam, a short blessing from Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche. *Wangchen Tenzin, King of Lingtsang, also known as Lingtsang Gyalgenma, was the king of Lingtsang in Kham, a Tertön, a Ngagpa and a Kīla master of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. He was regarded as an incarnation of King Gésar of Ling and was known for his kindness and siddhis in connection with his Kīla practice.
Thank you for sharing this with everyone. My father is from Lingtsang, used to listen to Ling Gesar song and story. Its very sad that we don't pay much attention to it. Only until lately, when I started learning more into Buddhadharma. When I go deeper and learnt many Biography of Holy Beings, Lineage and teachings....etc. I've found "The Jewel" "The Treasure" "The most precious Buddhadharma". 🥹🙏 Therefore, I've learned that our Lingtsang King is one of the Tertön. And the most blessing part is learning about the King Gesar...... is from Lingtsang...... an emanation of Guru Rinpoche. So, we are the descendant of Ling Gesar. 🙏 I've received the blessings from His Holiness Minling Trichen Rinpoche, thanks to my dad. 🙏 So, we must appreciate the Treasure we have and study to learn more about the Buddhadharma. These days there are tons of information available.
After such development, hope the monasteries and their rinpoches also speak and highlight the suffering of Tibet . After all they have followers and centers all across the world
There are also one Geluk Monastery and one Kagyu Monastery in Clementown. Hope you guys will do introduce these two monasteries. both Monasteries are not rich but important Monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism.
