Are we gonna address the fact that you can't see your attributes until after you buy VC and spend it on your player or nah... Mike Wang confirmed that you could see your attributes in the player card but not on the screen where you upgrade... Major L
He said "Don't worry about the numbers just build the player that fits your play style"... meanwhile most of the animations have specific attribute floors you have to hit to even unlock them... like if you are a playmaker that wants to speed boost and you build a player that has an 85 ball control when you need the 86 for the tier 3 dribble moves you are screwed because you just blindly wasted money on a build where you can't do what you want... same if you want specific dunk and layup packages and so on and so forth... this could be a HUGE issue

I'm between a 6'8 small forward passing & ball handling shot creator (86 ball control) or a 6'7 playmaker shot creating passing & ball handler (90 ball control) my dilemma is that I don't know how important will the elite dribble moves be what do you think Agent ?

That's how I wanted to roll but they don't give you shit for midrange with a pure defensive build! It's like 4 or 5 bars tops, dunking and layups are mediocre at best 7 bar layup, 11 or 12 (out of 25) for dunk.

Driving/Finishing Primary and Shot Creating Secondary is the most fun archetype, in my opinion. You can yam on folks and also hit that mid-range jumper easily.

I been eyeing the pure shot creator a lot lately 6'5 shooting guard (combo guard) it has better lay up and dunks and have the same 3 as the sc playmaker I know the sc playmaker have better speed and ball control and passing but the pure shot creator speed is,better in 2k18 than 2k17 once upgraded to the white and even yellow and the handles is good enough to create your own shot and speed boost I don't need 90 ball handeling. Give me your opinions and if this a L or W

First build I created was 6'6" small forward (with the express intent on lining up at the 2 in pro am) primary- 3pt shooting secondary- driving & finishing. 215lbs (-5 from default) and 77.3" wing span (-1 click from default) felt good as heck in the prelude

I'm always a big man so I'm making a combination of driving and finishing and post scoring, not sure which will be primary yet but that combination will be one of the best for big men

Try A 7'3 pure post scorer max wingspan & weight
1. you can play 2s with a sharp and this is scary because they need to double team you or else you get an easy post spin/ drop step/ hook/ or fade but if they come down to help the sharp is open beyond the arc
2. people sleep because it is not a known build so it puts players in the mindset of "It is a trash build" so you can get easy points

3. The build is slow but can box out for boards and defend other bigs with ease
4. post fade is one of the best moves in the game because if you use the dirk and do a post-spin into a fade the coverage is open so fat white go in and a great chance for a green

+Agent 00 Please talk about the new options we now have of separately upgrading passing, steals, blocks, vertical, lateral quickness etc because these were baked in with other things before.
For an example : How many passing bars do i really need? DO i waste bars on blocks if im a short player? Are speed and acceleration combined with ball handling or can i just fill up ball handling to get a 90+ speed with ball and choose to be slow without the ball?
