Have you ever had any experience with a prolapsed female? My female has just passed two eggs and one is a reddish colour. There is some flesh coming out and as I try to inspect it she pushes so more comes out but will go back. I have done the sugar soak but she won't allow me to push back (I am so afraid of hurting her) I don't know what to do. There are no reptile specialist in my locality and I would appreciate any input
I’ve had a couple Fat Tail females have what appears to be herniated bulges, but never with any internal parts coming out. The Fat Tails are fine, but not sure how similar that is to your scenario. I would keep clean and moist and try to get more professional exotic medical advice. So sorry.
@@LunaGeckos she was a lovely healthy weight up until she went off of her food (didn't realise she was ovulating and getting her eggs ready as she's just over 1.5 years or nearing 2 now. I didn't have her since egg and the previous owner couldn't give me a definitive age) she's lost weight since and had been passing excrements normally up until this but, this all happened today. All I can do , is as you've said. I did a sugar and lukewarm soak as you did in your videos as I couldn't find any info for this anywhere. If there's no change or improvement I need to hunt help down ASAP! Im very concerned about her. She was Bobby but I guess is now Bobbina 🤷♀️
Hi there! Just checked on Bobbina and everything is back inside! She was in a great mood and seemed excited to see me, which im happy to believe! I decided against handling her this morning incase she pops whatever it was back out again and to allow her some time to heal up. Judging by her mood and thankfully no insides on the outside, I hope this is a good sign. I got a number for a reptile specialist and I will call him on my lunchbreak today and explain all of this to him, for 💁♀️ at the least. If he wants to see her I will get up to him. Thank-you so much for your information and responses! They are greatly appreciated!
He has been in several videos since including our $10,000 Worth Of 2021 Mistakes. He’s doing fine, but sitting the season out and we won’t try to breed him till 2022.
My male leopard gecko had a big sperm plug. I was able to get it out but when I noticed it in the first place, I noticed that one of his bulges was significantly larger and more inflamed than the other. I did a sugar water soak and i’ve watched it for a couple of days and no change, his bulge is still inflamed and i’m not sure what to do?
The debate fly strikes again 😂

She’s certainly old enough, so that’s not a concern. Please let me know how she does overnight.
Thank you so much for responding to me! Its very much appreciated! I will let you know
Thanks again

@@LunaGeckos I guess I’ll just have to go watch more videos 😂 glad he’s doing well!!
Ha. Thanks for tuning in. Really appreciate it.

Certainly rest him from breeding. If persists, a vet visit may be necessary.
