Thanks for the video. I am 71 yrs old and I am a beginner with a 1997 Honda Fourtrax 300 2x4. Are there any suitable trails at Uwharrie that I can take a leisurely ride without mud pits or rock climbing ? Thanks and God Bless.

Great video. thanks for sharing. So I am curious. What size tires were on the Ranger in this video? I have a Ranger with 28” Carnivore’s and beadlock rims that do pretty good. I am also curious as to if there are trails at Uwharrie that are pretty tame for UTV’s and not so much rock crawling? I live about an hour from there it would like to check it out. Thanks again for sharing!!

He runs 30x10-14 and 2” spacers on that Ranger.
90% of URE is tame. It’s probably 50/50 rock and red clay. With the exception of one small gnarly section of the Daniel Trail over near Cotton Place trailhead, it’s doable by most any stock UTV. Ground clearance will be key. 10-12 I’m ground clearance is ideal. Thanks for watching! If you haven’t subscribed yet, please do!

Another great video, Double T, thanks for sharing it. It looks like you use the Lifetime Trailmaps app. How do you like it and how long have you been using it? I am very close to investing in the system as I already have a Samsung tablet. I like that it has Red Oak Hollow, Carolina Adventure World and all of the Spearhead trail systems. Did you sustain much damage out at Uwharrie? I find it to be way too rocky for my riding style. We love your content, keep posting often!

Thanks, Chris! I appreciate that. Yes, I love Lifetime Trailmaps. I love it so much I'm one of their product ambassadors. In fact, I'm the one that mapped Red Oak Hollow! =) I've been using it for about a year and a half now. I've used it everywhere from NC to Michigan to Moab. No damage at Uwharrie. Yes, it's rocky, but as long as you don't drive like a maniac, you'll be absolutely fine as long as you have decent ground clearance. It's a fun little system that's meant for cruising and rock crawling. I like going to URE because it's a great place to practice rock crawling skills. Hope to see you on the trails!
