- The browser based booking simulator Journey of Wrestling has made it's way onto the Steam store. Thanks to JOW themself, we got the opportunity to dive into the game to walkthrough the capabilities and we decided to hold ourselves a little draft as well. We were able to take a community created scenario from December 1997 and build our own drafted rosters!

Hey Cody! I was watching the JoW stream and I just can't wait to comment on the 2nd part of the series so I'm making a tip and tricks comment on this part!!
1) You should definitely play with 4 weekly shows - this helps making your feuds more interesting/hot.
2) Feud tip - +0.25 staleness for weekly segment, +0.50 staleness for a weekly match, +1 staleness for a PPV match. (and with only 2weeks people will start not liking the feud if it goes on on for several months, that's why having 4-8 weeks to make the blowoff is perfect) While you would need to have at least the double of that to blowoff the feud :D
3) You should be care full using your old wrestlers like that. Think this as off real life. If you put a 46 year old into a ladder match of course there is going to an injury.
4) Here is another tip that might come in handy. You should put managers on lower mid carders because managers make them more popular and it's more easier to make the managing talent a main eventer :D
5) And make sure to treat the people who want to retire/go part time nice (Do what they want to do/ make them win matches) Because a wrestler won't want to retire if he is getting opportunities.

Wow I haven't checked in on this in a long time! I made this scenario!! So cool to see how popular it became and how the game has grown over time, the dev is an awesome dude and deserves the success for sure! I definitely put in some pro Hart family bias in hindsight haha
And you are correct, I added more injuries initially because only one person could debut for a company every six months, so that way if you are playing as wwf you could get people when they came back irl. I tried to make it so you could literally book one for one recreations for at least a year or two

It used to be a go to for me in the break room on lunch if I didn’t go with my normal group lol. Really cool to see it on Steam now!

yo do anybody know why my journey of wrestling game fps is dropping like to 20 its my steam stuff cause outside of steam all my games give the full 360 fps i have a 360hz monitor everything works fine but this game on steam doesn't
I didn’t run into any drop issues while playing and recording. Could be worth redownloading as the saves will tie to your email account - you can save to cloud I believe
@@CodyVerseWrestlingIts working fine now it was my nvidia settings messing with the JOW steam version which was the G sync setting turned it off now its working smooth
