How to apply for a Schengen Visa in Dubai | Tourist Visa | VFS Global

This is me talking about my Schengen Visa application in Dubai.
Since I'm in UAE,I had to submit all the requirements to a company called VFS Global. I booked an appointment then went there physically to submit all the requirements together with the payment for delivery via Aramex and the SMS service for an additional cost. Take note that the fee differs depending on the country. There was no interview there, only via a telephone call from the Embassy (my case) and then my visa got approved in 6 working days.
Wednesday - submitted the documents to VFS
Thursday - VFS submitted my documents to the Danish Embassy
Friday & Saturday - Weekend
Sunday - no news
Monday - got a call from the embassy
Tuesday - no update
Wednesday - received my passport with the visa stamp! :) :) :)

This is one of the best videos I have ever watched regarding schengen .. brother I live in UAE and I'm planning to visit France next spring with wife and baby .. I know there is no specific amount required but based on your experience in general how much is the starting suitable salary and minimum amount in bank account that may increase the possibility for obtaining the visa .. sorry for the long message and thank you
Hi brother. Thank you for watching this video. Its always good to have more amount on your bank account however thats not the only part that theyre looking at. It will be a plus if you work longer in your company and also having your wife and kids are beneficial as well as this would give them an impression that youd come back.

Hi. Unfortunately I do not have any idea about working visa. I believe your sponsor employer will be the one to guide you on the process a d the documents needed…
Most likely prepare all your credentials, documents, police certificate, maybe a health certificate… i wish I know dear. Just refer to your employer for that..

Hi. I believe there is a calculation for each day amount required. Check on the country’s website for financial requirement, most likely it will be in Euro. I don’t think it’s all about bank account only, it’s also about job history as well.

Hi. You need to check with the embassy if they require NOC, if they do then ask if you could provide an alternative.

Hi. I dont think theres a minum salary requirement but of course you have to show that you have enough funds to support your trip plus if you have worked longer with your employer then thats a plus
Regarding the best country i cant really tell cause ive only applied for Denmark but that time when I googled it. Thats one of the least countries to refuse an application so i chose it :)

Hi Bro, i believe it depends on the duration of your stay. If you stay for a week or so, there’s an estimated amount for you to be required… the idea is you should be able to afford your stay. Please check in every country

Dont worry dear, theres no salary amount requirement, just make sure that you worked many years with your current employer and have a sufficient fund on your bank account

Mag open kayo ng bank account na pwede nyong kunan ng bank statement for example Liv... tapos dun kayo magsimulang mag deposit tapos withdraw din... kung cash talaga. Gumawa kayo ng cover letter at sabihin na cash ang pera nyo at cash pinapasahod ng amo nyo pwede rin kayo gawan ng letter ng amo nyo... try nyo kung tatanggapin ng vfs or tls. Tanong nyo din po :)

In government side they give only (barcode electronic letter) only but no stamping and signature

Hi Bro, NOC is different from COE, they may ask for both so better secure it before going for an appointment. i was even asked for my employers trace license :)

Okay lang naman na maikli lang sa work mo basta makikita lang nila na consistent ang income mo tapos gawa ka ng cover letter para mapaliwanag mo ng mabuti ang circumstances mo... also, sa embassy po ang interview ko at phone interview lang po. Tandaan pong mabuti mga pinrovide nyong docs at mga dates ng trip nyo dapat mag match. Good luck po :)

Ermm… para sa akin, mas okay kung walang sponsor, as in tourist lang kasi di mo naman sila ka ano ano… regarding sa duration ng stay mo, mejo alanganin akong mag recommend ng 3 months na application kasi tourist ka lang naman doon technically, id say kung immediate family member mo yan, baka possible pa na ma grant ka… kasi baka mabusisi sila pag ganyan ka tagal. Try nyo po magtanong din sa iba especially mga travel agency. Sana po nasagot ko. Salamat sa panonood :)

Apply muna kayo sa website ng Italy sir, kasi iba iba ang requirements so mas maigi malaman nyo mga requirements pero usually ang mga main requirements , andun sa nabanggit nyo :)

Hello. At least 90 days before ng travel period nyo po makapag start ng application. Ang appointment ay depende po sa available na slot. Nung ako ata ay merong 2 weeks na earliest

Hindi po, depende po sa inapply nyo at depende sa country. Sa Denmark at Germany, kung ano inapply nyo, yun din ibibigay nila, for example - 1 week or 1 month. Not sure sa ibang country :)

Kahit ano naman pong bansa maganda, dont worry pag short stay lang, usually granted naman yan kaagad lalo na kung makita nilang babalik ka talaga at purely tourism lang talaga ang intention mo :)

Hindi po. Bili po kayo ng insurance na ganun ang coverage. Nung sakin po paran mga 150 AED po yung nabili ko nun

Hi. Im not sure about youre wife status as from what I know, you need to provide evidence that you are a resident of that country. You might as call them first bro.

Better if you book an appointment first. I know i heard walk in used to be acceptable but i doubt these days due to covid rules.
Also, when i got my UK visa in sept 2020, they won’t let me in unless I got a confirmed appointment form.

I don’t understand the hahaha on this comment. However, just to clarify, Schengen visa isn’t covering the UK and I am living in the UK now so I got another visa rather than Schengen visa. I hope that answers your question 🙂

Confirmed po yung akin Maam pero yung binilhan kong tao, kaya niyang i cancel yung ticket sa loob ng 24 oras… di ako sigurado kung pano nya magagawa yun kaya mura lang hehe
Ang bank statement po mas mabuti tumawag muna kayo sa bank para malaman nyo kung ano ang irrequire nila bago kayo makakuha ng bank statement at kung magkano ang bayad. Yung akin since nasa UAE po ako, required nila ang aking emirates id at may bayad na 50 dirhams ata yun.. tapos punta lang ako sa branch nila

Kung ano yung nasa form, dapat yun dalhin mo. May checklist naman na ibibigay dpende kung anong country tapos un dapat mong dalhin sa vfs mismo. Pinaka importante, passport, insurance, bank statement, at ung jba pa... may checklist naman na ibibigay ang consulate dapag kumpleto yun bago ka pmunta ng vfs
