Double Dam And Town Model Disaster - Dam Breach Experiment

- What can happen to a town built on a sandy shore of a double dam in the event of a flood and a dam break? Total disaster!
Check out our new Dam Breach and Flood Experiment with amazing mini models and real water! - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Here's a suggestion, try making one with sticks embedded in the sand like iron rebar in concrete to see how much that effects structural integrity in these experiments
Cool idea, I will think about it.
@@KingOfDams Thanks:) Love these videos btw, strangely therapeutic :D
This would be neat to see!
I think they could allow easier pathways for water to flow through,, unless its really packed
@@user-lp6co2fd3l idk how they would do that, but imagining something more viscous would be dope. I'd imagine cleaning it up would be a nightmare though
That is such a cool idea!
So interesting how the sand behaves in this shot at 8:30, the water carries the sand from the top and pours it down, buring stuff in wet sand. Very cool to see!
Yes, I agree with you :)

what did you expect??? for the water to ignore the sand that it’s been fighting with the entire 9 minutes of the video??
@@-JSCS-E
Absolutely love the cars driving over the unfinished bridge 😂
Absolute *chef kiss* touch
Glad you enjoyed it :)
@@KingOfDams im curious, what are the model houses that you use? I am trying to find something like that for my nephew and I have not been able to . Thank you!
Love all of your videos!
i have a suggestion, larger area, (to make it more realistic), some cameras inside houses, some random pockets of waters (rivers) and more densely populated towns
It will be very difficult to do.. I will think about it!
@@KingOfDams but you’re the king OF DAMS
I like how you made the water more blue now
Magic! :)
Tidal wave🌊 Gd reference
I love ❤️ and I the my own
GD Reference
Fascinating how violently the deterioration of the ground is when the water is able to flow rapidly over it.
Yes, you are right..
I like these videos because they show while floods aren't as likely in some areas that doesn't mean they can't.
I am glad you like it, my friend!
Its the INTENSE music for me.
I am a person who loves to watch disaster films. THIS... IS A MASTERPIECE ! I had an amazing time watching this lol thank you
Oh, my friend.. I am so glad to hear it!!
imagine being a tiny human living here but then all the sudden water starts rising
Scary..
That would be a nightmare
Scare😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮oao😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮oao😮😮😮😮
Water in the hole!😂😂
Like lake Lanier or the other black towns that were flooded, killing its residents? No need to imagine. The historical precedence exists.
I have a question how long does it take to build some of these?
It takes about 10-12 hours, including cleaning and video editing.
Dam that’s impressive (no pun intended )
@@KingOfDams Thats very long to build
@@KingOfDams that's longer than my daily hours on youtube
@@KingOfDams Respect bro
You should do a dam in the center of the tank and add a pipe going to a sort of lake on the other side, I’d wonder how much that’d help the integrity of it
Nice idea, thank you!
these are so satisfying
I am glad you think so!
8:47
the roof piece going up the side was dope!
Agree with you :)
I dunno if you were thinking of my comment earlier asking for more underwater shots, but either way I’m glad! Excellent video!
I try to do everything that my subscribers ask. I am very glad that you liked my video again!
0:38 Dude just floatin' along like it's just another day! 😂 Not gonna lie, the real life version of this terrifies me. But I'm hooked on watching these, they are very interesting.
I am very glad that you are interested in my videos!
1:34 I love how you can see a guy just standing in the water it’s 😂
Cool xD
Suggestion for future videos: take a dry erase marker or something and trace the edges of the sand on the outside of the glass to show changes in height and size before and after the water starts
Hmm.. Wouldn't that take away from the realism?
@@KingOfDams I suppose it would, up to you though :3
Love your videos!
you should do more Lego inspired dams, i really enjoy those vidios
I will! I am so glad you like it!
I love the blue water! It's a great touch.
Glad you like it!
This is a very creative idea and build, that's why the builds keep getting better!
I am very glad you think so, my friend!
You could try making a sewer system with the bricks, that Goes up into the houses, that'd be pretty interesting, to see the sewer collapse, or maybe water flooding in and getting through to the Sand, causing everything to fall down.
Wow.. Nice idea, thank you!
the double dam is pretty cool
I am glad you think so!
These disaster videos are so satisfying 😊
I am glad you think so my friend :)
I dunno why I was so interested in watching this 😂❤
I am glad you like it :)
that is so cool with the glass side view and underwater camera
I am glad you like it!
You have done 42 of these experiments, if that doesn't deserve an award I don't know what does.
I am so glad you think so, my friend! :)
2:15 Breaking News: house exploded from a gas leak right before a double dam breach. In other News Subscribe to this guy
Cool :) Thank you!
Kuhygm the chat or video how did the backrooms the chat history
Try making a thinner but higher dam reinforced by sticks or smth so it wont just fall bc of the height. Don't put anything on top of it, instead build a town on the other side so it will look like a real tall dam. Would be cool if it just doesnt slide off with the water but actually breach and after that collapse. Also try making a small hole in such a dam after you filled it with the water fully and see what will happen if there is an actual leak in the dam.
Cool idea, my friend! Thank you very much!
YEA
The ones with bricks laid on the front and back are interested as they seem more durable due to resisting the sand falling. And preserving structual integrity
Yes, I agree with you.
LAYERS! DAMS HAVE L A Y E R S! Nice bridge btw
Glad you like it! :)
Hope the ppl are okay, pray for their wellbeing 🙏🙏🙏
They survived!
Day 10: I found this village? Maybe it's a town? I don't know, but as I write this I hear screaming, that flood followed me again. I am scared and worried for my safety. I feel so narsacistic thinking about it, thinking I'm a main character but I am going to quickly pack my items and run. I am across the bridge I can feel it Collapsing and feel I am going to fall, I FELL I CAN FEEL MY LIFE FADING AWAY, ...but a person grabbed my hand and pulled me up, now it really felt like I was in some kind of show I thanked them and quickly moved on, but they ended up following me It felt awkward as they were a child but I guess I have a companion now. I will write another time.

Epic, I love it
So cool!
Is it possible to create a small floodgate using the bricks? Interested if it would weaken or aid the structure. Could maybe apply it to this double dam and use the gap in between as a reservoir.
Cool idea, thank you! I'll think about it.
You should get like sponges and put them underneath where the plants are sense plant roots often hold things like that together
Cool idea!
i love the vids, im sure every prop is really hard to clean because its in wet sand
You are right.. I am so glad you like it!
1:47 guy at the bottom:IM STILL STANDING!!!!!
Lol xD
You telling me we shouldnt build houses on hills made of pure sand?
WOW...what an incredible and innovative concept! :DDDD
Hahaha :)
You need to film some parts of the collapse in slow motion. It would feel like a Thunderbirds episode.
That comment got me through waves of childhood nostalgia Lmao
I will try to make it, my friend.
Oh, the Humanity!!! At least the people on the right side of the bank had more time to get to safety!
But they were filming stories for Instagram and didn’t have time to escape..
I LOVE underwater shots!
I have seen a lot more in recent videos and for that I thank you 😊
Glad you like them, dear friend!
Br you replied mostly all of your comments (576 at present). You are very attentive to your subscribers and viewers.
Hats off to you

The guy standing in the stream at 0:15 gives off the "I am done with everything" feeling...Just stands there until he is buried...
So dramatic.. xD
He dies at 2:38
Hermosos sus videos
Estoy muy contento de escucharlo!
NOOO, why did you do that?! It was so beautiful❤ greetings from Russia🇷🇺👋
Thank you very much!
Have to say these videos are much much better with lego as the jeopardy and drama is better conveyed by the lego characters.
I agree with you
Seeing the water enter the inside of the big red house was super cool

I'm going to make a comment to @JBlsDoingStuff, King of Dams doesn't deserve an award, He deserves to have his videos shown at the Regal Cinema Theater in Florence South Carolina. Totally Awesome Video! Keep up the great work. Oh, one more thing, zombies can't survive under water!
Thank you very very much my friend!!
The bgm added 75% to the horror unfolding. Dam it. Great setup and action.
I am so glad you like it, my friend!
These are so fascinating but the model towns and cities sad they get destroyed
This also reminds me of childhood fun!
I am glad you like it, my friend!
idea: you could make 2 dams and let the water in between to see which one breaks first!
Nice idea! Thank you!
I have An idea you can put beams to try and hold the sand all together and see if it's strong enough against the weight the waters putting on the sand
Cool idea, my friend, thank you!
@@KingOfDams no problem! I've been watching you since 2019!
This is really fascinating and fun to watch 😁 .
I am very glad you think so, my friend!
I’ve been making this whole entire story line to wear there’s this one tsunami and it’s been going all around the world for years
xD
Hot damn people! You see the water coming and your just gonna stand there!!! This was fantastic!
Wow.. :D
At first glance the videos on this channel seem nonsensical but a deeper look shows these are far more informative and provide tons of data. What about rice, a product that might expand when wet or aquarium stones that may interlock or someone suggested sticks. A combination of materials might be interesting as well. As long as NO lego ppl were harmed in the making of these videos, I appreciate the entertainment and educational value
I am so glad you think so, my friend! And cool idea!
You're witnessing not just the collapse of a dam, but the collapse of the entire Lego civilization.
Yes! :D
It’s not Lego tho
Here’s a suggestion do a ice age themed one please 🙏
Nice suggestion, thank you!
one of the more intresting ones 2 dams wow
Glad you like it, my friend!
Next time pipe water through the river as well!
Ok, I'll try!
On average how long does it take for you to build the landscape, structures, etc?
Also are these all jus randomly put together or do you look at photos for ideas?
Last question would you ever try a dam breach using another substance other than sand?
I recommend using cement instead of sand
It takes about 10-12 hours including video editing. I come up with the scene myself and try to make everything logical and realistic. I built dams from mini bricks, that was also interesting.
😂
😜😂
What if you added pebbles into the mix?
Just a random smattering of pebbles, but the further down into the “ground”, the more “stony” it gets
Yes, nice idea!
This vid just popped up in my recommended. Been a loooong time since I've watched your videos.
Welcome back my friend!
Do an engineered dirt dam. AKA wire mess horizontally in the sand every inch or so.
Ok, I'll try
Try making the same dam but without the valley in between
Uhm those videos existed before😊
Ok :)
siempre me han gutado mucho tus videos y aunque no tengas mucho apoyo te animo aseguir,
y un aspecto a mejorar, en tus futuros videos puedes poner mas destruccion entre los LEGO y ladrillos

This proves that water can do anything

The man standing under the water still: "this is fine duct tape will fix this"

i think using a more stable material like rocks between the sand would've help the first dam
Cool idea!

Moral of the story: Don’t let the dam breach
Yes :)
Crazy how at first it seems like nothing is happening then things just start falling over
I love this channel so much, you are my childhood, keep up the good woek!
I am very very glad to hear it my dear friend! Thank you!
I love this videos, its relaxing, but, are you going to make lego videos again? I liked them too
I am very glad that you like my videos! More recently, two videos with Lego have been released on my channels.
Idea, make an underground city or bunker and make it flood!
Cool idea! Ok!
This just needs sharks and you got a fun storyline.
Wow.. :D
At 7:44, that isn't a zombie. its a LITERAL drowned from mc
May be :)
I know a guy who build in the middle of inclined terrain. He used metal barrels filled with concrete and tires above as columns for his house to keep it horizontal. On top he built a concrete floor about 1 feet thick and built his house on top. Below the barrels there was a tree that died and started to rot, which suggests me that humidity rot the roots of the tree. There is a lot of rain there. There is no flood, just rain. One of the barrels is inclined like 5 degrees, signaling that the ground moved at the bottom. The bottom moved a few cm outside.
This is interesting..
Serves them right for building a house in the sand
You are right..
I wonder:
If a max. water depth of 1½" of the initial flood was held (inflow limited & stopped) for 8/12 or more hours,
what would be the effect on the first dam & overall by timeline..?
It is interesting..
These videos are so fun to watch, +1 sub 😄
