Remember being a kid hitting usc the blocks and seeing Stevie willams getting redorded skateboard lifestyle and how amazing it was golden years I'll never forget
2 years of skateboarding and got sponsored by a major skate company... I hope you guys realize how impressive that is... For anyone, not just him.. It's probably 3 times as hard to have that happen now.
People in my neighborhood laughed at me too cause i was black and stuff, but i kept going and now hearing this from him makes me feel i did the right thing... love myself for that too.
I remember being 15 at Pier7 and Stevie just got off Chocolate and he was telling my Friends and I about how he was going to start a Company called DGK...and Look what happened...Wow. Amazing.
DGK all day I suppport 200% I'm glad to see you really made it . Even know I thought u made it when you was with dc Lol . I Remember skating in the city and you would be everywhere 3rd army pier 7:( those was the good days . Hard flips and trays stupid clean . But lets go hit them half pipes bill lol DGK all day Hustlin is the key to success
i fukin love dgk and im white in a urban city and that's y i fell in love wit skating the streets the whole vibe and a lot of my boys were not white and we jus all connected together through skating every word he said is100% true!! show how ignorant ppl were back in the day.. big up stevie
One of my best friends growing up skating in LOVE PARK!!!!! I remember when Element picked him up and zoo york picked me up!💯 I choose the military. But we still cool.. fam for life💯
i feel like Stevie and know where he's coming from...i kinda have the same scenario set on my life.... live in the hood. loves to skate. and trying to make a living out of it and make it my job. gotta make something out of nothing while you have the skills and the time to do so...
You don't seem to understand the large point of sponsors. Does Wayne provide a platform to support DGK and its products? Yes he does, because he's filthy rich and is covered in news media frequently. Life's not fair buddy. Also, the Bieber thing is a rumor. Not true...
I remember when I was growing up and I skated, black people looked at me and my brother like we were weird because we skated. Now every black kid skates.... I feel like Dr. Dre...LOL Stevie is sick though, a good interview except for that last part.
Yet another brand to help create hipster "skaters" I still love DGK but the past shows signs of DGK turning into a mainstream brand instead of a skate brand. I wish brands would be like iPath and just stay in the skate community.
+Christopher Nodine He's passed that skateboarding threshold. It's been mainstream for a while. Sadly, there really isn't much money when you limit yourself to the skate community. That's why many of my favorite skate shoe companies from back when are on their way out.
his level of skating during those love park years was literarlly amazing.
Love park technically still exists though and you can still skate the ledges on the fountain
I use to have a Poster of Stevie Williams with the love park sign in the back ground on the back of my bedroom door
Stevie got me started skating foreal...
He still my idol ...shoutout to DGK !!!!
Bro its never to late to try something its a thing of motivation...
You try hard..you earn hard :P
No doubt go and skate
Stevie Williams speaks words of wisdom in this clip. This is very inspiring.
I skated with him in Santa Monica 1995! Miss those days!
This was great. I'm happy for him. Thanks for putting this up.

Stevie is the shit! I could tell he's a sincere dude. That video was inspiring. Thank you
Stevie's like, "...street skatin'." lol Goes back to the stereotype: not every skater skates a half pipe!
People always have that outdated 80's perspective of skateboarding
on tony hawk I always picked this dude nobody else still do
Dearcey Brown actually your wrong I always pick him to dude
Stevie is straight ledge, and a real nice dude. Burned a blunt at Sk8tique with him; a real quality human being
I remember being 15 at Pier7 and Stevie just got off Chocolate and he was telling my Friends and I about how he was going to start a Company called DGK...and Look what happened...Wow. Amazing.

What is the name of the shoes at 9:20 PLEASE ?
Exactly I started skating in the 80’s and definitely can relate being from the “hood” but now the “urban” skater is the thing to be.
Me too. Started in ‘86 and people were hating hard
He's such a cool dude man
One of my best friends growing up skating in LOVE PARK!!!!! I remember when Element picked him up and zoo york picked me up!💯 I choose the military. But we still cool.. fam for life💯

gotta make something out of nothing while you have the skills and the time to do so...
He called out skate shop yesterday and said he would stop by today and didn't even do that , he went to other stores at the mall just not ours ...
i do not see any dgk in any of the macys stores or even online. thats some bullshit
