Great energy. Especially Joey was on fire. But, I'm sorry to say this, Mina's (lack of) vocals really put a damper on the whole show. They had turned down the volume on the mic so that you could barely hear her (deliberately, I guess). Many times she sang an octave lower. Especially during Black heart. It ruined the song completely. She often pointed the microphone towards the crowd for many of the hard parts to sing. LOA skipped two songs from the setlist. Damned if i do and Lay down, one of the new songs I had really been looking forward to hear. Mina went around and told the others she wanted to skip this song. I guess it was too hard to sing. My mind is dangerous was a nice surprise, but alas the song didn't live up to my expectations as the last beautiful part of the song was omitted. The "Oh oh uhhh" high notes. If she had the flu/a cold at least she could have told us. Unfortunately I don't think that was it. Judging from recent youtube vids, this seems to be a general problem that is only getting worse. What happened to that otherworldly voice of the past? LOA have now disappointed me two times in a row. Last time they headlined Copenhagen they played only 60 mins. This was slightly longer - 75mins. Joey asked for the crowd to go wilder, which only partly happened. I put that on Mina's vocals, sadly. Something was simply missing to get all pumped up. Caputo's vocals is such an integral part of their sound and if they/she can't deliver on this then I won't be returning.LOA deleted my comment on their facebook page.
