I just _knew_ you'd appreciate this season's turn toward character development; a lot of people (boys) trashed it (this episode in particular) because they hated Rick being served his *T,* (especially by a woman). They idolized Rick so much, they couldn't handle him being so flawed. This whole episode was a metaphor for how people eat and spew _shit_ in order to maintain their delusions to continue evading the consequences their lies have accumulated.
BTW & FYI ; cockroaches are such resilient and simple animals, that Rick couldn't have killed one that way. Even if you cut their heads off, they will go on living, until they starve or die from thirst.

I remember I was wearing a Rick and Morty shirt, and walking a few blocks with my fiancee to a move theater, then some guy randomly screamed at me "PICKLE RICK WUBBALUBADUBDUB!" I was like, ooookay... I kept walking with my fiancee, and this guy actually follows us yelling, "nothing? What kinda Rick and Morty fan are you?!" Then he left me and my fiancee is alone. o_O That said, as Summer would put it I felt like I was being held verbally hostage! o_O So, yeah I agree that some of the fanbase is getting kinda embarrassing. Like the whole McDonald's szechuan sauce thing. When the didn't have enough and fans started jumping on counters, and causing some property damage. WTF! O_o I still love the show, and all but jeeze! Also if you thought this episode was violent, you're in for it in episode 4. Thumbs up as always.

Dr. Wong was actually a really cool therapist in my opinion and I loved her talking to Rick about therapy. I'm more like Rick when it comes to therapy because I've always thought it's useless and it feels patronizing, but I like how straightforward she was with him. I don't think emotion or vulnerability should be sought for in this family. Rick and Beth are members of this family, and showing a vulnerability would mean being controlled and hurt whenever someone more logical than emotional are involved. It's important to be aware of your emotions so you can brace yourself when someone does attack them, but this family would eat each other if they started spilling out their hearts.
