A party with a bunch of teen boys and girls, were left alone just so the parents can seem cool. If I drop my kid off at a party, you bet your buns I want to make sure the parents are going to be there. In my head canon they were getting so much hate from other parents they ran out of town and that's why you never see them again. :D
yeah, because having parents around will prevent 'fooling around'. it may on the night of the party but then you've forgotten the next logical step is to have the party at 'The Boneyard' or some other isolated place ie. a field in the middle of nowhere most parents nowadays are too smart to tow the abstinence line because they know how well that worked in their teens
