I love analysis like this. I did a spreadsheet of the average American man's possibilities in the USA. There are 0.02 suitable woman who would also be interested in him. Everyone would have their own different factors to plug into this calculation. I much prefer the Philippines. Go where you are wanted. And I'd never bring a woman back to the US where the culture is toxic and would destroy her sweetness. I'm also worried about social media corrupting the Philippines over time.

Went to Manila twice the last year for a week each, and went out with more ladies than I can handle. 27 yr old was the oldest, and most were around 23 yr old. I am into the thin and curvy ladies similar to Rekee's AI ladies. I am in my fifties and not shy and didn't have any problem getting dates, but to be fair, I had unlimited budget to explore. They are attracted to money like we are to their looks. I don't trust them but fun to go out with, and my rule is not to give money. Eat well, fun places, and 5 star hotels but no money exchanges. Down side, they are clingy, and I get line txt multiple times a day from multiple ladies letting me know they are going to work, got home, going to sleep, etc.

Very insightful analysis (15 million available women, WOW), of the 1 million American, UK, Canada, Australia (expat) that visit the Philippines, surely there is a % that visit more than once annually or who live in the Philippines that travel in and out of the country for whatever reasons. Anyway 15 women for every expat - that's huge.
even at a 5:1 ratio... much better odds than 'back home' in the west.

I think your math is correct. The conclusion is obvious. If a Western man is looking for a traditional wife to spend the rest of his life with, he needs to travel overseas. Especially to countries like Philippines and Thailand. I did this and it worked out well. Happily married for 48 years - to the same women. We have lived in the US our entire married life.
I live in Dumaguete, and I have always claimed that there are fewer foreigners here than most expats think. We see the same guys over and over again in places that expats seem to be.

As a 24 year old Software Engineer who is planning to gain experience to work remotely in US market. If you look at the detailed chart there are roughly 1 million 18 year old girl. And most probably that 1 million is not married at all. Since I am a very young person, I would only go for 18-20 year old girls.
Numbers are actually higher. Unfortunately here even in Turkey, when I go on a date almost all the women shocked when I say I am looking for marriage. I am sick and tired of this. I feel like Muslim part of Philippines is even more conservative compared to Catholics? I hope this is the case. If so I will marry a Muslim Filipina and settle down there. an estimate only, based on the consistent reports i get from men who are leaving the usa for the philippines. many haven't dated in over 5 years because there's simply so few women worth considering. unless a guy is into fat, green-haired, self-absorbed, delusional women in their late 40's with a few kids in tow.
This should be sounding the alarm bells for western women, but no, they just don't give a hoot till it's too late, then they complain and whine and blame men for their bitterness. I wish all the peace and happiness to all fellow brothers seeking a meaningful and lasting / loving relationship in the Philippines..

What if an expat is interested in women older than 40-45, even 50?.
A lot to choose from, even more. I'm 50 and when I got on two dating sites most messages I got was from women 40+.
women over 35, in most of asia, are considered 'too old' by local men. if you are open to dating women over 35... wow, you will have your pick of the litter. and many filipinas do hold their shape later in life. (others, not so much.)
so, add to that the gratitude and appreciation an older filipina will have, getting such a lucky 2nd-chance in life.
Just beware of whether or not she's married. It's not the same there.

Currently in Cebu at the Business Center area which is expat central. 90% of the women I see have Filipino mates. I was surprised by how few expats with Filipina mates I have seen. I get this area is totally different then provinces just what I see
looking at the big picture (and the numbers i mentioned here)... it is to be expected that with only 1-million expats, and at least 60-million filipino men.. of course most of the couples you will see will be filiipino-filipina.

Interesting video. I like those 15-to-1 odds but I wonder how many of those 15 Filipinas are under 4' 9" tall? Probably very few. Why do I use that height--so far 100% of the profiles &/or videos I've seen of Filipinas of that height that are looking for a foreigner only want to meet a guy who is at least 5' 6" tall. That seems to be the "magic minimum" height that Filipinas find acceptable for a foreign man.
from what i've seen, i saw more filipinas under 5'0" in davao city. more than any other island.

all the images in the vids, i create with AI for illustrative purposes. i often try to pattern the AI model after the person discussed.
in the PH.. i'd say about 6% are a 7 thru a 10. with maybe 1% being a 10. but, they are very approachable.
using real women means getting model releases for each. not cost effective to be paying models for photo shots.

Do you have any tips on figuring out their age by looking at them? I hear it is easy for locals to tell. Always getting a look at their ID before dating is a good idea. Still would not want to approach an underage girl or ladyboy for that matter.
3 key things to observe to figure their age are;
facial appearance.. more so than their body size or type.
behavior/speech
who she hangs out with on social media.
if her Friends on FB are all obviously 16 year olds, highly likely she is as well.
when I first came across my (now) wife on FB, when we began chatting, first thing I asked her for was a copy of her ID with birthdate. she sent me her Tax ID card, and proved her age... we met and 4 years later, enjoying married life. :)

if a single man in Australia can have a decent condo apartment, all utilities, groceries, transportation, dining out and travel on $1400 usd/month... then yes. because that is do-able in the Philippines.
As I sit in the Cebu airport some final thoughts on my trip to the Philippines. Again, I was in Cebu Business Center and completely understand it’s not representative of the country as a whole.
The people are incredibly warm and friendly. Truly wonderful
Security is heavy here. I had to walk through metal detector to get into my hotel, mall etc. most individual stores had their own security as well.
One mile from BC is extreme poverty. Kind of jarring
Spaghetti and fried chicken are huge here lol
The food overall is mediocre at best
Rental units have terrible furniture compared to Thailand
Manage your expectations about Filipinas wanting you by the droves. Not going to happen
That said I got a few smiles that, if I was staying, I would have talked to. Definitely better than the states

For me ( and this is just my opinion) I think Thailand is a much better choice. Better infrastructure, food, healthcare and, since I prefer slim and petite, I think Thai women are better looking overall. Thailand is also cheaper.

Thailand just makes it so hard to get a long term visa if you aren't old enough for the retirement visa
I agree Thailand is better when considering all factors, at least for me as a 36-year-old guy. Vietnam is also better than PH for me on balance. But I do think the ease of dating is #1 in the Philippines.

Interesting video. However, it's really hard to prove this 15:1 ratio. I would reduce it drastically because many Pinay are fat (haven't see many expats with fat Pinay in a LTR) or very, very short (under 4'7"). Just by watching expat vloggers (none of them are married to fat, or ugly, or very short Pinay) you can have an idea of what to expect being there. Of course, going to the province to find what you want is giving you the best ratio, but that may bring other issues , like the woman not willing to leave her family by relocating somewhere else). And if the expat is not willing to live in PH, the big issues will start by applying for sponsorship (she might be rejected, or she will 'run away' after moving to the West, or even the possibility that she won't be able to adjust to the new life in the West).
it's just rough numbers, as i stated. too many guys come here thinking it's more like 200 to 1 and get frustrated.
as for the short, fat, or 'ugly' women.. some guys like that. they feel they are more appreciative. i've seen filipinas who most men would consider a '4'... even a bit homely, but something about their smile and personality made up for it.

Interesting calculation. Ive done it about 7-8 months ago and came to little different numbers. First, if you took data of all arrivals, tourist, couples, kids, business trips and females, many will visit and go back, so Id say that there is maybe 10%, or less of those who buy one way ticket. But that was my calculation. For the single ladies in PI i didnt cut in half, like you did, but was more conservative and took that 3/4 are taken. Considering demographic data for last 20 years, there are much much more young Philippinas celebrating they birthdays. in 2000 there was 77 millions population vs 120M now, those 43M are all about 25yo and below. Consider that millions of women are working abroad, and still counted like one of those 120M inside of the country. I went deeper in my research and went into birth stats of young ladies... that was little scary, I had a feeling it is out of control for last couple decades... poor education and expensive contraceptives... made it happen. What ever you going to calculate, you are the winner here anyway.
yes, there are several ways to glean and interpret the data. but bottom-line, plenty of filipinas per expat. enough to keep a man busy for several lifetimes. :)

The 15 to 1 ratio is false. Not every filipina wants a foreigner relationship. Somewhere I read its about just 5% who wants a foreigner. But if we count with your 50% ratio than we still have 7.5 million to date.
you've obviously never dated in the Philippines. in the space of 12 years here, i've only been turned down for a date.. twice. (one was a lesbian and the other was married.)
every Single filipina i've approached and asked out has said, 'Yes.' that's about a 99.99% success rate in meeting filipinas who want do date a foreigner. (me)

As a person who has dated a lot in the Philippines. What i found is that while a lot of Filipina say they prefer a Filipino, that's mostly to not get talked about by other Filipinos. Reputation is extremely important to filipinas. And a lot of them think it's difficult to have a marriage to a westerner because of the family and cultural differences. But I can promise that 99.99% want to fck a foreigner if they get a chance to do so without losing reputation. Even if they have a local boyfriend they will often let you raw dog because they want a mixed baby, as long as no one knows how they got it. Especially if you are tall with blue eyes

@@Lifebeyondthesea My point is that 50% of the expats are currently paired up with the married Filipinas thus, if the Filipinas don't count among the "available Filipinas", the expats don't count among the "competing expats"... therefore the ratio is 30 to 1.

i was quoting, "number of expats entering the PH." specifically those who entered in 2023.

You're assuming that every filipina is looking for a foreigner. That's absolutely false. The vast majority of single filipina date or want to date a Filipino. So your 15 to 1 ratio is giving expats false hope that their odds are great, when in actuality it's probably reversed. It's probably closer to a 1:1 ratio or maybe even for every filipina who wants to date a foreigner, she has 15 from which to choose.

in 12 years, i can only name two filipinas not interested in dating me (a foreigner)... 1 filipina i approached for a date turned down the offer, and it turned out later, because she was a lesbian, and even then.. we still 'dated' just hanging out. and the 2nd one, she was flattered but, she was already married, so she declined.
all the other filipinas i approached said 'Yes!'. in 12 years, i lost count a long time ago. overwhelmingly, filipinas are highly interested in dating a foreigner. it's a simple fact any expat who has spent time in the PH can attest to.
numerically, 'most' filipinas marry a filipino because, as stated in this video... there are over 60 million filipinos available and very few foreigners on the market to have.
Still far better odds, and culture/environment, than the West … where 100% of women want 10% of men. Also, while not every Filipina is looking for a foreigner, most Filipinas are open to being with a foreigner if he asks.
@@Lifebeyondtheseafor sure, I just took my first trip to the Philippines and spent a month in the visayas region. The amount of attractive, willing and desirable philipinas are amazing. Even if they are not interested they will not hurt your pride and will happily talk to you and even introduce you to their female friends. They are the nicest people I've ever met. If you doubt the numbers then you probably haven't seen it first hand. Just remember to treat them good because they will do the same.

I can't tell you the exact numbers but it sure felt like when I went to the Philippines I got at least 15 times the amount of attention and more than 15 times the amount of high-quality dates. So my boots on the ground study has been concluded on that matter

which is why i labeled this group as, "desirable". part of the process of dating is weeding out those with bad character. just because they are desirable does not mean they are of good character. (bargirls are a good example of that.)
