Considering that healing items and armor are nothing to waste, this strat will definitely be worth trying for many. The explosion can also do a lot of damage, so it’s not a bad idea to avoid it.

Awesome method by detective but guess what? Theres an even better one where u target all the zombies (including the riots!) while not being in the explosion radius urself. Peymann came up with it and sent a video of it on the discord a few months ago. Its really great and easy once u get used to it
I've done a bit of land mine PD testing during the streams. The mines seem to fall off around the mid-50 wave mark. The spawn method changes then and more zombies make it through. Using mines up to that point and then switching to mgls is golden though.
One more step, perform the Spreadshot after the explosion as soon as you escape the explosion or immediately after if you are not in the explosion. It will give the larger zombies a one hit kill.

Can you try the MGL and brutalizer combo? brutalizer in VIP on gas station, or grenade and brutalizer combo? i think thats the most efficient to someone who already reach the prestige in VIP lvl
I did it today for the 2nd time! And the first time with the MGL It went fast and pretty easy bt ull need a lot of meds and swat so its pretty expensive bt with this event i used military and spread shots

Cca 66 dmg with swat and skill which increase you resistance to explosion.
