Right now I'm mostly concentrating on buying movies that I don't have in my collection yet but will also be getting blu ray/4k of many I already have on DVD. I love how you keep us posted on sales. Stoked for the Tremors 7 Film steelbook. One of my favorite franchises. Consistently fun, does not take itself too seriously, and keep evolving the monsters and settings to keep it interesting. Also PO'd Godzilla Minus One from the G-Store.
Kill is actually an Indian movie which was distributed by lionsgate in US. It's great to see an Indian movie get a physical media release. I have a whole list of Indian movies I'll love to see get a release. I heard that the John wick franchise makers have already acquired the remake rights of kill.
We are witnessing great sequels like the new Twister and Top Gun. With a solid budget and a mix of practical and CGI special effects like the new Twisters, returning to Perfection would be a great place where I would want to spend the next 96 minutes. Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie alongside the charmingly Fred-like and quite popular these days Jon Bernthal, who could play Earl's son would be welcome in the new sequel.
I'd love both versions of Alien ³ and Resurrection on uhd. Can't believe we're in a world where these aren't out already but yet Jaws The Revenge is coming.
I have a blu-ray steelbook of Tremors 1-6 and part 7 on a blu by itself. I have 1 & 2 on 4k from Arrow, no blu included, so those still have use in the set.
I really hope that whoever is ultimately in charge of the wide 4K/Blu-ray of Godzilla Minus One doesn't just recycle the same discs they made for this limited edition. The movie has English subtitles, but no dub for dub fans (I'm not one of them, but it's the principle of the thing). Plus, none of the extras have any English subtitles.
I'm really glad we're getting a US 4K for Long Legs. It seems like a title that would only get a 4K release via a German Mediabook (like Immaculate), so this is refreshing.
The % of regular 4K to Steelbooks is so heavy on Regular. I do want options like yourself, but i only want Steelbooks, so im happy to see them releasing Steelbooks
I actually do not like box sets as Steelbooks. I hate hate hate when they just stack a bunch of discs on top of one another. The right way to do a box set is how Scream Factory did the Halloween and Friday the 13th box sets.
Passed on the 4 disc Rocky collection like I did with Star Trek. I snagged the steelbooks back when best buy had them. Also preordered 5 and 6 because you know they have to all match. 😅
I am not buying the Godzilla. Im pissed that the extras don’t have subtitles. Plus the black and white version is not on 4K. That sucks, because Universal showed us with their classic monsters how awesome black and white looks on 4K.
I’m glad Longlegs is getting a 4K release as should all horror movies honestly. Definitely picking up Godzilla Minus One! Disney doesn’t have the balls to do an Alien Boxset, I’d be happy for individual release of Alien 3 and Ressurection. Don’t expect any cooperation from David Fincher though as he disowns Alien 3.
I will blind-buy LONGLEGS. Horror's been having a series of new landmarks (SKINAMARINK, THE OUTWATERS, HEREDITARY, etc.) so I'll get LONGLEGS because it looks fantastic.
I preordered the Godzilla box set as soon as I heard about it because there was no way I was going to turn that down. It was $73 with shipping. I liked Longlegs, but not enough to buy it. Who is RLJE? However, I have the Umbrella set already paid for. Isn't that cover for the steelbook one of the posters with the Umbrella release though? I watched the Tremors franchise earlier this year for the first time and for what it's worth, it wasn't terrible. Each movie gets worse than the last one, but except for the last one they all had something that made them worth watching.
I really think you will like Stardust. It's funny, romantic with a great cast and fun for the family. My wife and I love it, and it's a chance to see pre-Daredevil Charlie Cox. I will definitely be getting that movie. We also watched Late Night With the Devil for the first time last week and loved it.

I would have gladly sprung for that "Godzilla Minus One" 4 disc Collector's Edition except The Godzilla Store US stopped shipping to Canada a couple months ago. But the deal breaker for me, (which makes me not bother with the rigamarole of securing the shipment through an American re-shipper), is Toho International didn't author the Bonus Features disc with English subtitles. They decided to release this in North America and omitted the subs for the part of the package which is targeted at die-hard Godzilla fans like myself. How much extra time and/or expense to Toho would that have entailed, I wonder? Better yet: what the hell were Toho thinking?!
They didn't omit the subs, none simply exist. The only reason they are doing this at all is because a subtitle track already existed for the movie. Toho would have had to up their price to $100 if they were going to sub the bonus disc because that would require them having someone translate them and reauthor new discs.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork There are plenty of AI language translation programs out there (and I'm not talking Google Translate here). Presumably, Toho being who they are, a motion pic studio/distributor, should have access to one or more of them. Even if the translation wasn't 100% accurate, as long the English grammar was reasonably intact --we'd get the *gist* of what's being said in the narration, interviews and comments. The already had translated subtitles in hand for the movie. Bottom line: one disc would have had to have been re-authored.

Tremors 1 and 2 are great. The remaining parts are weak and not worth watching again, so I don't need them. I have a special Arrow video edition of both parts and it is phenomenal, I thought I would never see these films treated this way. Tremors 10/10 Tremors 2 9/10 Great movies
Everyone else is reporting that the bonus dosc in Godzilla Minus One is all in Japanese with no English subtitles. I went to the website that you can order the box set and it seems that this is true. Please tell me that I'm wrong because I've been waiting and waiting for this movie to come out here (we saw both versions in IMAX) and when they made the announcement I was so elated, followed by shear and overwhelming sadness, and then just pissed off. As physical media collectors we sometimes do get the shaft for many reasons but this is a step too far. I'd say (in general) that physical media collectors are collecting because they love the extra physical stuff that comes with a box set and for the extras on disc. I've been a Godzilla fan since I was a little boy (50+ years) but I'm just so upset by this that I can't even enjoy it for right now.😮😮😮😮
Yes, that's the case, its merely a reissue of the Japanese deluxe set, with the discs having English menus, but the movie discs are the only discs with English and Spanish subtitles. Everything else, including the bonus material will be in Japanese only. They have announced that there are plans for other releases of it, but this was probably done to get it out there as quickly as they could.
@FanofChowder Personally I'd have much preferred that it was released around Thanksgiving if it would've been put together correctly. I may have to settle for the regular 4k when it's issued. I can't justify spending $65-80 for something I've seen in it's best form and if I'm desperate I can watch it on Netflix. It seems a huge disservice to fans but a lot of the physical media companies do the same thing by putting out a bare bones version and then release a steel book with tons of extras 3 months later.
Same boat. Not buying this set if I don’t get the subtitles that are included in the already released digital releases. You know they’ll come out with a US edition.

Yes, the interviews don't have subtitles on the bonus disc, but I'd rather have them then nothing at all. I wish they would do this with the rest of the movies they have already put out on 4K.

Because The Watchmen sucks. It's a pretentious, grim dark for the sake of being grim dark, boring as hell comic book that is full of garbage writing and an ending that is complete crap. I have no idea how the man who evolved Swamp Thing and gave us V for Vendetta turned out such dogshit.
I saw the English dubbed version of "Godzilla Minus One" on Netflix & IMO the film is only OK & was extremely over-hyped. Your mileage may vary ...but I would never purchase the movie on Blu-ray or 4k UHD. 👎

I watched said movie in a Theatrical type setting using a Projector w/10 ft. Screen with approx. 25 other people & afterwards they all thought the same as me.
The Hunted is nothing but a cheap knockoff of the fugitive witch is ten times better the the hunted. And day one buy for a quite place day one on 4k & I will wait for the basic 4k release of the hitcher. And I will buy day one the 4k releaes of long-legs & I will get rocky 4k box set & day one for phantoms on 4k

I saw the English dubbed version of "Godzilla Minus One" on Netflix & IMO the film is only OK & was extremely over-hyped. Your mileage may vary ...but I would never purchase the movie on Blu-ray or 4k UHD. 👎

For a Godzilla movie ...however per the Media hype, the film did not put Hollywood to shame. I've watched & currently own (Blu-ray & 4K) thousands of movies. I'm glad that you enjoyed it though.

I guess we agree to disagree ... but even Minus One's ending was very lame & similar to the original 1954 Raymond Burr Godzilla movie. I watched said movie in a Theatrical type setting using a Projector w/10 ft. Screen with approx. 25 other people & afterwards they all thought the same as me.
The Hunted is nothing but a cheap knockoff of the fugitive witch is ten times better the the hunted. And day one buy for a quite place day one on 4k & I will wait for the basic 4k release of the hitcher. And I will buy day one the 4k releaes of long-legs & I will get rocky 4k box set & day one for phantoms on 4k
