Some people have a question. Why they don't renovate the steam house and power plant? The main reason is cost of renovation and rebuilding. It is easier and cheaper build a new one cause the new generation of machinery bigger and more efficient, an old facilities not fitted for this new equipment.

I love your vids and have been watching for years now, but have you considered censoring your guide's faces to protect them? What with the social credit system and AI face recognition by the state in China. Just a thought as I'd definitely like to see more of your adventures in China and elsewhere!
@@alexgreen4005 It is. However, urban exploring, as long as you didn't take items from the site, remains okay. This is an approved topic in Chinese social media.
You are really misled by the reports of the Western media. In fact, our life is not so bad. The social credit system and facial recognition have really been exaggerated. I admit we have these things in China, but the social credit system is only used for financial purposes in China. When you don't have credit, it only restricts your means of transportation and does not allow you to borrow money. The police will not arrest you. Moreover, facial recognition is mostly used in electronic payments and the arrest of criminals. By the way, there are also many ruins explorers in China, and I can't believe you really believe those reports.
Every video i watch from you guys leaves me with a sad feeling, all that iron and steel, all those abandoned places going to waste. Sure, it's way to expensive compared to the gains, but still. Makes me wish we could have a alternative use for the abandoned places you visit.
