- Here we go again.. Tidal this time, so you guys stop asking :p
(It is by far the most difficult Legendary i did a Video about. Id highly recommend doing the other ones first, and i do leave out some Information i explain in the other Videos)

Reminder, this is NOT the only Way or Build which can clear this. Its a good Baseline for starting out with Solo Legendaries, and we can always build onto that! The Strategies are mostly designed for New/Returning Players who want to get into Solos.
This is one of those missions like manning zoo where I actually just get tired and don’t even want to finish.

Thank you very much for showing the community and myself the more detailed walk-through of legendary. You Show the positioning and the build of exactly in real time how it should be done and explain as you go along is the way it should do. If any TH-camr is out there for any tutorial whatsoever for a game, they should do exactly what you are doing now for a tutorial. Everybody seems to show you how things are done but this way is much much better because it shows not only you are able to do it like this but also you show the position of the player and the probabilities on what they shouldn’t not do and explain. For this and this alone I have to commend you as a player that’s very experienced in a game that you have the knowledge understanding of the average player including myself who is very experienced in this game but unfortunately I’ve stopped playing. But just looking at these tutorials they are brilliant and the community should know about them in my position without a shadow doubt especially there are new players out there they should take notes.. there are other TH-camrs but the way you explain and the way it should be done you’re the only one that does it like this and it’s correct. I would appreciate it if you could do this for the rest of the legendary sections throughout so therefore the community can learn and reflect back on it so that they can have an opportunity to achieve what you have with your experience and knowledge. What the hell man, I thought you were never going to go for tutorials on tidal (and manning). I don’t think I’m ever going for solo Tidal, but I know that if I ever want to do it, this tutorial will come in clutch. Thanks to you I managed to get my first clear (and several more after that, with more aggressive play styles) on Roosevelt and Capitol
i can tell you, tidal solo is the most fun out of all tbh. its a challenge but its mad fun,i do it a few times a week and getting better times every run feels insanely rewarding. what else is in the game to do besides legendary missions or maybe incursion. normal missions are boring as hell^^ it maybe sounds like weird flex but tidal is not even that hard if you got your strat.

because of this vid, a mate and I finished it together in a duo... took multiple attempts, and the one that got us there took 2 hours... but we got it done thanks to your insight. we truly thank you... Manning zoo is the only one we've not done or attempted now.
I've watched a lot of DV videos but most are either short or I stop them halfway thru. Your video is the first over 10 minutes that I watched in it's entirety. Great job and love the commentary and the tips especially on killing the turrets at the end!
Wasn't expecting it to end with 50mins in so defensive style ;p But yeah definitely worth to look through. Highly recommending to anyone trying to solo it or even in group - as you can learn what to expect in which part and from where :)

At the TB boss section I oxidize all 3 yellow panels without causing aggro, then switching to another build while standing on top of the control panel against the glass (no gas damage there).

Well done is a very difficult mission i played it yesterday ledenary in a group 3 Stryker 2 red and one had blue Stryker and healer we made it to the end😁😉
That was impressive! Does watch level count into this I’m 360 just wondering if you need a maxed watch to duplicate this
Hey! Watch level does help, but its not nescessary for completing (however you will have lower stats until 1k). Id recommend starting with one of the other ones tho, since tidal is probably one of the harder ones!
Had an idea for the boss area here, why don't you put the turret on the other door to provide support?

I dont agree with how you handle the final part of tidal since like you said yourself. Its pretty RNG dependent. You're at the mercy of how the medics behave
Hey, Yes this is true, but thats still somewhat the best option. In Solo Legendaries (especially played "safer" like this or my other tutorials) you cant really get around that, your best option is to do kill everyone before they get the chance to revive/spam drones/nades whatever (+ weather, which completly changes the behavior of enemys aswell!). That just doesnt fit the more Casual and simple Nature i want these Guides to be in, since the Main Goal here is to help People get into those Runs. I dont want to sit here, make a Tutorial and just go like "run up, shoot them, just get good", i dont see the Point in that. Like i said in all those Runs aswell, this is only a template and not the best/only Option for running it.

you can't do that anymore. last big update "fixed" that.
So what are the stats on all of your striker pieces. I know sometimes you have a red or blue core those are obvious. But what do you run other than the cores? Like crit damage and crit chance specifically?
Hey, ideally you wanna go for 58 crit chance everything else into crit dmg, if you play coyote you can stick with 52 crit chance

Hey, Yes all of the boss fights on legendary differ to the heroic/below ones!
Try 1.6 armor the catharsis price more and you get the heals more
Didnt know about using silencer at generators
it helps out a lot, being able to clear the two turrets without triggering the room! only the left one requires a silencer.
Why did you opt for the 12 Elmo and not the 25? To build more Striker stacks? Or to just flex? :)
Hey, i wanted this to be more relatable for everyone, and otherwise there would be a bunch of comments that the only reason i managed this was cause of Expertise :p (dont get me wrong, higher Expertise helps, but its not nescessary!)

So doing these steps with a 4 man team would be alot harder last stage ? You know because of scaling enemies
Hey it still works,wouldnt say its a lot harder, sure enemys are scaled, but theres more people they can shoot at :p However there is better strats for it

Colorblind mode called Tritanopia….it changes all the colors , a little disorienting at first but you get used to it 👍
Yes, its a colorblind mode, that helps with having outlines of skills on the floor (for example healing hive) and makes it easier to see them
@@toasteyxgod I first used in iron horse raids to see the bombs impact area better , then eventually used for Lovebirds , helps greatly !

I got attacked by 10 at the same time the strategy didn't work at first
there is a little rng in their strats. but mostly weather related. in bad weather they push you a lot.
Would be much easier with shield peeking but it was fixed for PvP (completely agree) but also affected PvE (Don't agree with this)
The AI cheats religiously in this game hence why I stopped playing after those cunts nerfed shield peeking in PvE

Hey, while aiming you press Melee ("tab" by default on PC) to toggle the scope
@@toasteyxgodyeah I recently discovered it lol like holy sh this thing got a scope mode?! Think for me it was middle mouse button. Not sure if that's default or if I set that like that years back.

How do I get St. Elmo's Engine these days? It's not in the season track.
Hey, you can get it from Targeted Loot (like countdown for example) or exotic caches
I got mine to drop during Countdown yesterday. I had my targeted loot on Assault Rifle and in the first area I got an exotic to drop. I was all excited, only to have it be a Capacitor but once we got to the 2nd area another exotic dropped and it was a God roll St. Elmos.
Good luck you'll get it. Just do everything you can that gives exotic caches.
They drop at least once every 2 countdown runs with ARs targeted. Today I got elmo, chameleon and capacitor in a single run lol.

Every time they're pushing at the start, all the way in dogs and rushers.
Can only kill two at the top before they rush in and i just cant survive.

Like i said on this, aswell as on the other Videos, there is a lot of things that can change enemy behaviour, such as your and your turrets positioning, or Weather.
Pc npc are dumb down console are a lot more aggressive is stupid actually!!!!!!

It's 4 striker with grupo mask and ceska chest with Obliterate. 2 pieces rolled armor rest weapon dmg.
Even still as always this game is the level of detail that the artists put in it with the garbage strewn around the way the trees sway I don't think there's a game out today that's still represents New York Washington area as well as this this it's still flabbergasts me

How do you upgrade your ceska chestpiece,mine doesnt have any proficiency rank..
You have to use Ceska gear to get it rank 10 or you can donate Ceska items via the expertise menu.
Get ceska body, put materials into raising proficiency with it or just play while having it equipped. Eventually you'll hit rank 10 (proficient). After that you're able to upgrade the piece (each lvl is 1% extra armor).
