Many issues that can happen. Without a BMC you will either overcharge or under charge the battery. Potentially burning the whole house or killing the battery.
Here is how you solve it: Calculate your "average" daily charges, like in Per Hour. Then use a "battery" accordingly. This way, the "battery" will "never" be over charged. NOTE: Also another big plus, if the battery gets drained at night or all usage. When it charge, it will never gets full, so you can't kill the battery.

Look before you leap, it looks like the cell has a protection circuit, although there is no blocking diode for charging and night discharge
The problem is that the video did not point out that the battery had a protection circuit so someone could use a unprotected lipo which would make the circuit dangerous.
As u have used 2n2222 instead of that can we we use 4056 or any other as we are using 3.7 22000 mah 18650 battery

There’s a lot of videos on here which show the diode soldered both ways, silver line pointing to solar panel as well as away from it, also some on positive rail and some on negative rail, which is correct? Please help
