    I was raised on chicken and duck eggs. I find duck eggs a bit richer. I prefer them in recipes that benefit by higher protein and fat. But when it comes to baking it’s turkey eggs.

    I'm eating my 1st ever duck eggs whilst watching this video and have to say that I can barely tell the difference between these and chicken eggs. Maybe they're a bit creamier but I'm not certain. However, when considering their price, size and quality, they are excellent value for money when compared to the premium chicken alternative. Possibly better value.

    Duck eggs hands down! I hard boiled some the other day & put together a few jars of pickled eggs. Great snack on a hot summer day! So satisfying 😋

    Currently staring at my duck egg, afraid to eat it 🤣

    • @karaaliea7577

      I ate it.
      There is a difference but it's not huge, I don't get the extra eggy taste or smell which is what I worried about.
      I found that the little bit of brown char you usually get when frying eggs, is alot more noticeable with the duck egg. Overall decent, will take some adjustment 🤣

    You can taste the difference only when you have boiled them. That more strong eggy smell comes through.

    Good choice of salt. I just ate a duck egg. I was really good. The white was a little swirly., The texture was different. Hard boiled it..

    10g is 1tsp a day.
    Yes it is a lot, but I hear our brains are made of fat, salt and vitamin C.
    So I would take 1-2T of coconut oil or flaxseed oil
    Then put 5T of fresh lemons with 1-2tsp Himalayan salt (tastes like tomato juice) in 16oz water for a few months and got rid of my brain fog & memory loss, I had for many years.
    To me quail eggs seem gamey, some Koreans like to put quail eggs in their beer. 🤔
    I remember my Taiwanese friend’s mom would put ground beef in a baking glass kinda like meatloaf and would mix salted duck eggs on top and it was the best.

    Dude if something looks like 15% bigger you can't just come and claim they are 30 - 40 % bigger lol...
    If duck eggs are 15% bigger it means you need 1 chicken egg and 15% of a second egg, then compare the nutrients.
    Thicker shell means nothing, bigger yolk means it is more unhealthy as studies have already proven about chicken eggs.
    More fat and more cholesterol, and you here proving they better? oh man this is getting down to a joke instead.
    A free chicken eats bugs just as much as a duck does, when farmers gets ducks instead of chickens, these ducks won't eat insects anymore.
    Instead they be putting on a cheap diet that makes them as fat as possible as fast as possible with food their body can't even handle.
    With that being said, after that we need a new nutrient test on both eggs, and remember these words, when they do that everything falls apart.
    What goes in is what comes out, why do we expect anything else with our animals we grow to feed ourselves?

      yolk carries all the nutrients.

    • @Desperado070
      @Desperado070 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

       @Orlando Rossi Your body can't process the yolk without the egg white, and then you wanna talk about studies? haha

    • @josephorossi
      @josephorossi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Desperado070 lol what. the body can process egg yolks without the white. that doesnt even make sense. can you provide a source with that? and i love being outside! lol. but all im saying is that egg white is the protein and egg yolk is all of the micro nutrients and fat. yes the yolk is high in cholesterol and fat. but there are many people who say that cholesterol is not as bad as people say it once was. it is a precursor to testosterone and plays a huge role in the human body. im not 100% positive on this, but i always feel better when i eat the whole egg personally. also, fat in egg yolks is healthy and anti-inflammatory.
