the code geass vs death note comparisons are so stupid, people just keep repeating it because they think they're being clever. Lelouch believes that his mother's death was not the result of terrorism, but a noble, potentially the mother of one of the other princes/princesses, objecting to someone of lower status having sway with the emperor. Lelouch will now try and get into contact with one of the two that Clovis mentioned. I don't remember if they said both names, but they are Schnizel and the second princess. The reason Lelouch killed Clovis, this is mostly just speculation on my part, is because A. That is the best way to get the attention of the two he wants to get to, B. Clovis did murder dozens of Japanese just to cover his tracks, and C. Clovis didn't having anything useful to offer lelouch by being alive.

During these years the media trend was “serious plot, dark themes but super pretty bishounen (basically super pretty boy/man) as the protagonist with same for other boys in it that we will instantly fish in female fans even if the bishounen person is pure evil.” With the Gundam series called Gundam Seed and Gundam 00 that you guys saw heavily did this too. This lasted till about 2011 then died out a bit.

The trilogy films and chars counterattack film is now on Netflix when the newest installment Hathaway flash released on it. Also on Netflix is Gundam Unicorn and Gundam Iron blooded orphans. Iron blooded is it’s on standalone universe story but unicorn takes place few years after chars counterattack. Note: trilogy films only in Japanese dub which honestly it’s best. Do to the English dub is 80s English dub and well…. Yeah. Chars counterattack English dub is better with it dubbed in 90s I believe and Unicorn/hathaway flash is modern English dub.
This show is a mix of Attack on Titan, Death Note, Gundam Wings and High School DxD its hilarious when it goes from very deep to very childish from one episode to another = P
