An emotional groom who opted to do a wedding day first-look shoot with his stepdaughter was brought to happy tears when he turned around and she asked him to adopt her. Adam Hansen, 30, has always been a father figure to six-year-old McKinley, and so on his wedding day, the youngster decided to make Adam her legal dad as he took her mom's hand in marriage. According to Adam's wife, Brianna Hansen, 27, her husband had no idea the surprise was coming. The couple had planned to carry out two first-look shoots - first with Brianna and then with McKinley - and after Adam had turned around and explained how beautiful he thought McKinley looked, the youngster headed off to grab a gift bag. Inside was a petition for adoption, which Adam read through and began to cry as he realized the significance of the paperwork. Fortunately for the family, their videographers HoneyBee Memory had kept the cameras rolling, allowing them to captured Adam's happy tears on October 29.

I'm balling. I never had children but I got back together with my HS sweetheart after 20 years. She had a little girl about 7 I think and an 11 year old son. I treated them like my own, held their hands, tucked them in when I was there. One day I saw her daughter come in out of the corner of my eye, she didn't know I saw her, she put her arm out and up and spread her fingers and said "I wish you were my Dad." Well, that was the nicest thing anyone, adult or child, has ever said to me. The sad part is their Dad saw them on weekends, he drank and I don't think he did anything with them. Anyway, that let me know I would have been a good Dad.
YOU ARE A DAD AND A GOOD ONE. Becoming a sperm donor is an entirely different thing in my book

I adore videos like this! At 16 I made a decision to get pregnant and married! My dad begged me to not get married and just have my baby! But sadly I thought I knew everything! Lol. So I now had to get myself an my son away from him and I did 2 years after I met my husband who immediately became dad to my son even adopting him! Good people exist for sure! My son is 45 but we an our other 2 children lost him almost 5 years now! He loved him no differently from the 2 with his blood! Thank goodness love has nothing to do with who’s blood you have! ❤

It is never to late to adopt a child I was 42 yrs old and adopted 3 kids all brothers and sisters. kept them all together/They are all grown up know. I sometimes say I adopted them. But they say no dad we adopted you.....
