Hi, my biggest concern is the quality of the final product i.e. the labels. From your description I would need thermal transfer labels but my question is will these labels be able to stick to a surface and be durable enough to withstand an industrial environment(grease, dirt, heat, etc.) for 5-10 years? Is there a durable ribbon option or should I be looking at different printers all together? Thanks in advance.
Hello Nick, labels and the correlating ribbons should be carefully chosen, taking into account the material that they should adhere to, the environment that should need to be resistant to and any chemicals that they come into contact with. We have a new Zebra ZD621. Starngely using its own driver prints a smaller minimized text on a 100x63 mm label. Using the old GX430 driver, it is OK. I checked the web admin page of the printer and the maximum width parameter always overwritten to 863, instead of 1200, seems the ZD621 driver overwrites it therefore the printer thinks the label inside is less than 100x63 mm. Using teh GX430 driver it is OK. I tried to contact zebra but it is extremely difficult. Also the 1 inch core label does not fit the core holder it does not fix it so I have to use a smaller core inside the 1 inch core to fix the label roll. I have images but I do not know where to send, on the web it requires to fill pages and pages of data to report to zebra, I have no time for that

Are these machines a good choice for postage labels?
If it's 4x6 postage these will work good. They do not print postage stamps.
