Saw that you recently released an editor through GitHub as "Ubi-Canvas", I'm struggling to figure out how to set it up efficiently and work with Unity. Any chance of video tutorials for how to use that possible? If so, it would be much appreciated.
That editor is not made by me, and I haven't figured out exactly how everything works. Basically, you need to have all game assets extracted from the bundle and setup the scene as described in the readme. The process is a bit tough right now because you can't simply edit levels directly from the game, but this might be a feature someone would implement someday.
Nothing much happened since then. There were various reasons that made me stop developing the project, such as: my low programming skill, very limited editor features, messy installation, and so on. The project has been left in a state where it couldn't basically do anything interesting. However, I recently started developing a new library that could edit Rayman Legends scenes. I don't know yet if I'm going to include a user interface, maybe someone else will eventually do that on its own.
could you show us a tutorial on how to use ubi-canvas?
unfortunately i've never used it myself
@@loriswit How do I extract the rayman legends game files?
@@bluecat285 i don't remember exactly how i did it, but i think i used QuickBMS
I made a tutorial!
Great video!
I can't wait!!!!!
This is so cool, I hope you finish this... Some day ;)
Someone else has already made an editor right here: github.com/byvar/ubi-canvas
take your time!

Well, 3 years later, what is going on with the project?
