Tone knobs in this specific genre of metal are overrated. It's not like blues where using it is more important to get a certain tone for phrasing. Most metal players don't even acknowledge it's existence tbh.

Mike is creating instrumentals, writes songs that would take 8-9 people to perform and Courtney uses layers that would take 4-5 backup singers to sing, that performance would take a great toll on any performers budget. Which one you prefer, a purist low fi version or the full sound with full band playing live and having backing tracks??
