Praise God! Children are a gift! I had my youngest when I was 42 and diabetic.. I was given all of the risks.. but I ate healthy, took care, went to many appts..and by the grace of God I had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby girl born on Christmas Day! My Lily is now 10 yrs old! I cannot wait to 'meet' your precious blessing! Congratulations!

My favorite grandma was 48 when she gave birth to my aunt. The way I understand it she cussed several doctors out but finally accepted it when one doctor said " Give up Ethel you're pregnant " . Grandpa had the morning sickness and grandma was constantly moving furniture around so when he would come in off the night shift he ran into furniture that wasn't there when he left . Lol . So happy for your family y'all !!
I'm also on Team Girl so Lily could have a sister. My fifth was born when I was 40 and the next youngest child was five (the oldest was almost 13). I also have Hashimotos and the baby was/is fine and now 28 years old.
Your having another baby is not weird at all. Its almost expected because you are a family-orientated -family! 41 is young. You all are so blessed. The kids are so excited. So am I. You both are so lucky. I can't wait to share your journey :).

This just happened to me today! Justin and Bekah, I’m right there with you!! I’m so sorry for your loss!! I’m Laura - Stephen’s wife, we live in NC. I’m 43 years old. I just had a perfectly healthy baby 8 months ago, in December. And then I became pregnant again back in June and was due March 18, 2021. And I miscarried today not even an hour an half ago, and passed the baby today. I was supposed to be 11 weeks along. This is so hard. But all life is in God’s hands. And I’m not going to stop giving God control of my womb! It’s so worth all the trouble and heartache to have another one!!! Don’t give up!

I was born when my mother was your age, my last and sixth baby was born when I was your age, he was a very unexpected pleasure...and at 25 continues to be so. He is wise beyond his years, and has been my sanctuary, and an anchor for the family. (Sadly his father passed away when he was 6 from a decade long battle with cancer.) The most tender part of this chapter was not only the baby, but watching the mothering from his siblings. I can not wait to watch Miss Lily as she helps you. I also had/have Hashimoto, but Adam was was fine, entering the world at 9.2 pounds and 23 1/2 inches long. Congratulations! By the way my only real complication was an early bout of Momnesia....
I'm 38 and 10 weeks along right now and that's what keeps going through my mind. This one had been more exhausting than my first 2. My oldest will be 13 and the younger will be 8. Nothing like starting all over.
I had my first two children young when I was 18 and 21. then for 18 years no pregnancy, on purpose no pregnancy. Then when I was 39 I was a little late on my period, so at lunch I went and got a pregnancy test, and took it at work. I was 100% sure I wasn't pregnant because we weren't trying to get pregnant and I'm old.... I was thinking I might be starting menopause, but just to make sure.... when I saw the positive test result, standing in the bathroom stall at work, I was so shocked I actually lost my sight for a split second. weirdest thing ever... suddenly the world was black and white, then black, then back to color.

AND she was WAAAAY too cheeky when she said there's been a lack of new babies happening, it's been a minute and the excitement about meeting the new Hollar, little Lilliana Faith was palpable!
How awesome! Congratulations. I also had 5 kids, 2 girls and 3 boys. I experienced 2 miscarriages in between. All my kids turned 18 by the time I turned 42. I'm 52 now and my youngest is 29. I had all my kids before age 23. I can't imagine having them in my 30s or 40s. You both have a wonderful life together that you have built with and 4 your kids, so why not have 1 more? I had myself fixed after having my 7th pregnancy, or my 5th child. My body just couldn't handle anymore, and I had a lot of health problems. Children are a blessing from God. You are so blessed! well Bri does have a little twinkle too! And she was quite upset that there was no room at the INN, I mean that the house two doors away has already been let out! AND she was WAAAAY too cheeky when she said there's been a lack of new babies happening, it's been a minute and the excitement about meeting the new Hollar, little Lilliana Faith was palpable!

How awesome! Congratulations. I also had 5 kids, 2 girls and 3 boys. I experienced 2 miscarriages in between. All my kids turned 18 by the time I turned 42. I'm 52 now and my youngest is 29. I had all my kids before age 23. I can't imagine having them in my 30s or 40s. You both have a wonderful life together that you have built with and 4 your kids, so why not have 1 more? I had myself fixed after having my 7th pregnancy, or my 5th child. My body just couldn't handle anymore, and I had a lot of health problems. Children are a blessing from God. You are so blessed! I'm excited for your family. Thank you for sharing the news with us. Are you going to do a gender reveal video? That might be fun, include the kids!
