Dandruff is a very common condition that more than 50% of people are suffering from, it is usually observed in the age group 12-28 years old. Dandruff is found mostly on the scalp because you have the maximum oil gland there that produces sebum and the area of your scalp is also extremely dark which means the density of your hairs on the crown does not allow much sunlight which leads to giving an ideal environment for the fungus called “Malassezia globosa”. Dandruff leads to making the scalp flaky which will cause a constant itch. It isn't contagious or serious. But it can be embarrassing and difficult to treat. Mild dandruff can be treated with a gentle daily shampoo. If that doesn't work, a medicated shampoo may help.
Although dandruff is a chronic condition which disappears after a certain age, you should not leave it for that age. Therefore, Dr Jangid has explained some of the advanced treatment methods for dandruff which are shampoo which consists of anti-fungal clotrimazole, econazole, fenbuconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole, and miconazole. You can also include the usage of coal tar and keratolytic agent in your shampoo and lotions as it helps in the deduction of dead skin and regulates the oils in your skin which consequently helps in the reduction of dandruff flakes. Recently, I visited a Dermatologist . I had a little hair fall, and he told me that it was due to dandruff. He started my treatment. The treatment lasted for three months. Every month, he would tell me, "Here is the medicine for next month. I will meet you next month." After three months, as soon as I stopped taking the medicine, I had a lot of flakes on scalp. At first, I thought it was a side effect of the medicine. But after one month, it continued. So, I went back to him. He started the treatment again. After that, for six months, the flakes has reduced only slightly, due to topical steroids. I asked him when the treatment would end. He would only say, "I will cure you completely." But it has been six months, and I am still not cured . this malfunction treatment ruined my careers😭😭 .if you had faced similar problems please like and support this comment
