I don't think she understood that the character she was playing was a victim of SA at the hands of her dad...and she turned to drugs to numb her pain..and it spiraled from there.

Nick was definitely real, at least at first. She met him in a parking lot and he rubbed her gunt. She went online super excited afterward She can't fake that level of excitement. That's one truth vs. lie tell. I do believe he ghosted her pretty early on though, and she conveniently trotted the idea of him out whenever she had a fight with Cokey. Now, it could be that she messaged Nick during those times and he politely responded, but in no way, shape or form was he ever pursuing her.
