I have the Nina and am in love with the sound of it. Seeing this and The Night Terrors video session makes me want to grab a 2nd Nina! The character sound of the Nina is the best since the Access Virus.
Shame you guys don't have more coverage. I don't listen to house, but then again I was and still am an absolute Underworld fan so there's that. This sounds sublime, bass has that rubbery texture that other synths simple cannot get, you generally need a bass dedicated synth to pull these off imo. It has a modular feel to it and something I would love to play with, just a little too expensive for me, but with quality comes cost. I'd love to hear some Berlin school from this instrument, if anyone knows their way around that genre. I can hear the plucks screaming to be used in some good ole 70's music. Thanks for the upload, looking forwards to many other demos.
Would you consider a digital SVF in a firmware update if it's possible? It would expand the layering and creative possibilities so much more having some layers high passed or band passed.
No doubt getting traction with the established brands in place forever is challenging. Still Super 6 seemed to take off while this far more interesting synth is being ignored a bit? Unless going digital with Iridium or such this is one of two or MAYBE 3 synths you should even seriously consider in the "category" of over $2k synths.
Thanks for the kind words. We have a load of these NINA SESSIONS incoming that should capture attention and imagination. One of these days soon NINA will be sold out, and then everyone will want it!
@@melbourneinstruments I am strictly a hobbyist/noodler and this is the ONLY over $2k synth I have ever seriously considered - in fact I have gear up on reverb to finance the purchase. It ticks a LOT of boxes and probably no synth can tick them all. Still, if at all possible in a future firmware 12 part timbrality would make for a fantastic 6 part FM drum machine with still 5-6 voices left for a pad, bass, and lead sounds.
Virtuoso teamwork and duo! Well played.
Wow very cool gentleman

"The Goonies" vibes at the start ❤
Still saving for mine.

We have more coming. We’ll be dipping into all synth friendly genres. Yours could be next!
@@melbourneinstruments much appreciated, thank you.
honestly a more convincing showcase than anything else i’ve seen on this thing. very lovely work.
Nice, understated, a modern take on the jazzy house Nu Groove Record/Burrell sound from the 90s ? :)
